Peace and Quiet

Location was great! Just far enough off of the main road and very quiet. Nice little side street full of vendors. The staff there was very friendly and eager to assist any needs that you may have. Home away from home.

Lovely peaceful haven. Beautifully kept gardens. Very nice family compound, but accommodation is at the back in a separate garden which increases the very lovely sense of privacy here. Nice large room. Lovely outdoor terrace.very good splash pool. The staff are really lovely. Helping whenever asked. The area is perfect too- for cultural life or walks into kajeng rice fields. Good cheap warungs nearby ( try Rumah Roda along the road 2 mins and upstairs - it’s great) You won’t regret staying here. It’s very relaxing.

The remote control for Aircon was very hard to work. Impossible to turn off. Which meant the Aircon was left on more than we usually like as we are very energy conscious. Needs attention. The bathroom is a bit strange- large bath in a very thin bathroom. Not terrible but hard to access at night. It’s always better to have 100% cotton sheets in a hot humid country, but these were poly mix. Luckily we bring our own cotton sari to use. None of these are deal breakers. This is a super place but tiny improvements would really help. It’s a great value peaceful place and the pool is clean and nice, with good loungers in a very well kept garden. You won’t be disappointed if you know what to expect. It’s a great value option.

Very poor

The owner and staffs were too aggressive to my friends and us. Yes we were drunk but still there's always another way to figure out from that kind of situation. I was really afraid of their behavior. The whole staffs were starring at us and made side eyes until we checked out. I do remember the moment that when we tried to checked in, the woman(seems to be owner) doesn't really greeting us.

The family is just lovely. The home stay wraps around a beautiful family temple. So lovely. And the food was delicious! I could walk everywhere

We have stayed in the last 15 year is so many guest houses in Indonesia. And this is just average. Nothing stands out, and the staff is lazy an nit interested in anything. Location is good and for roughly 300K a night the price is ok in Ubud. But for the same amount you should be able to find much better Places.

Lovely gardens and conveniently located.

Only a few villas and the pool was lovely . The family who own the Loka Sari were lovely.

No one came to clean the room and I had to request towels and toilet paper. There was a family who was staying long term for a month and while we warned they had a baby, they said nothing about the two children getting up at 6am every day and yelling and screaming. Not conducive for a good sleep. Has that family not been there, I’m sure it would have been fine.

Superb

LOKA SARI is an oasis amongst the very busy market stall street in Ubud. Stunning clean pool and huge rooms and bath. Breakfasts served on patio with a great choice every day. Very very close to all of the action of Ubud. Bali yoga warung just opposite is great food

My family booked 3 rooms. Room no. 3 aircon was very poor. No water or drinks in fridge. Definitely need to provide water.

Okay stay, great location

Good location if you’re visiting Ubud in just a few days (right in the city centre). Okay bungalow, with a charming surrounding garden, good value for money. Staff is great.

Cleaning is so so, overall the property is clean but a bit dusty. You can’t really swim in the pool like you would expect from pictures.

Superb

Best bang for the buck at the best location in Ubud. This was our third time in Ubud so we knew that is the best location so we can go best spas, beauty saloons, restaurants and shopping all at walk distance (5-10 min walk max). We've didn't care for budget since everything in this area are very affordable homestays like this one, this one is built around a temple but is so well kept and clean, the family running is so kind, the pool is also really clean (some other similar places around are not really unusable), the breakfast good and big enough served in your room (one "main" dish to choose frome 5, plus fruit and "unlimited" coffee or tea), even good wifi plus they even have a built in massage saloon, so you really can't ask better at this price point. We'll be back every time we go ubud!

At this price and location really nothing you can ask more, but if anyone has mobility issues maybe its not best place for accessibility.

It is beautiful, but we left after one night due to mould and noise.

It is beautiful from the outside, it feels like you walk through a temple when entering the place. It is also a great location, close to the best parts of Ubud. the staff is also very nice.

Our room had some mould below the A/C and in the bathroom. Also looked like there was some on the fan in the ceiling It was also quite noisy during the night. This is because some windows were just a wooden decoration, no glass pane to take the sounds. To our taste, the bed was also too hard and noisy It is very cheap, so it may be worth it to some, but it was too cheap for us.

Our room was large and comfortable. Good AC when you need it. The room had a nice private patio outside where breakfast is served. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very central but still quiet, and the gardens are beautiful. Overall it was good value for money.

As others have commented, the rooms need a bit of updating, especially the bathroom. The pool is very small so if you really want to swim then this is not the right place. We ordered nasi goreng was a vegan option for breakfast, but it came with egg - we just fed that to the resident cat but other people might be more put out by that. Otherwise, breakfast was pretty good - nice fruit salad and coffee.

Staff was friendly and helpful. It was set back from the road so was quiet. Not far from the market and lots of places to eat. Breakfast was good.

The bathrooms had many steps that were slippery when wet. One of the rooms had a hole over the toilet so if it rained you got wet.

The room was really big and the bathroom was big a nd beautiful. There was hot water and pool was small but nice. The shower didnt have enough pressure tho but the friendliness of the stuff made it up dor it (; The breakfest was good and on the terace which was nice. Everybodz was really nice and helpful and a big plus were two puppies ((: Also we really like the setting. It was in the heart of ubud but yet so calm and peacefull like living in ur own little temple((:

Ne faites pas les soins de SPA😡😡😡😡 dans l’établissement. On prend un soin des pieds d’1h00. Ça dure 30mn mais facturé 1h00. On réclame : c’est normal que ça soit moins long, comme elles sont professionnelles et rapides, alors faites payer 30mn pas 1h00. De l’arnaque à fuir. Après on avait la gueule 😁😁😁

Tout, pomme de douche sans pression et qui fuit, pas essuie pieds, pas étagère dans la salle de bain, vasque minuscule, pas de porte serviette obligés de mettre la serviette par terre quand ton se douche. Clim de la chambre qui fonctionne ne s'arrête pas pas même sur le bouton éteint. Décoration vieillotte et le lit été le pire , bruit de resort , matelas vieux , dur , odeur d'humidité, des nuits affreuses.

La posizione in centro a ubud, ma lontana dal traffico. Il giardino interno bellissimo e le camere spaziose

Poca luce in camera, bagno molto molto spartano, poca acqua calda e getto poco forte della doccia, difficoltà nel parcheggiare il motorino fuori dalla struttura (l’host non dà soluzioni, anche se ce l’ha fatto lasciare ma ci è venuta a chiamare una mattina per doverlo togliere!!)

오리지날 인도네시아 전통가옥느낌으로 밀림처럼 우거진 정원과 너무 잘 어울렸습니다. 위치는 따만 사라스와띠 골목 안쪽으로 차량진입에 어려움이 있지만 빠르게 우붓을 관광하기에는 더할나위 없이 좋습니다.

낡은방문은 조용히 닫히지 않고 힘을줘서 기술적으로 닫아야나 걸림쇠가 걸려 닫히고 물먹은 벽은 페인트가 일어나 있으며 방에 창문은 유리없는 나무창살에 방충망없어 모기나 해충에 노출되어있습니다. 주인내외는 친절한 웃음으로 방문객을 맞이하고 안내합니다. 다만 우리팀은 일행이 많은관계로 마사지에 큰 실망을 겪어야했습니다. 딥티슈마사지 1인당 약18,000원 마사지사는 전혀 전문적이지 않았고 한손으로 마사지를 하면서 딴짓을하고 하여튼 만족스럽지 않았어요.

Buena ubicación y exteriores únicos.

El alojamiento está ubicado en el centro de Ubud , la ubicación es perfecta. El exterior es una pasada con un templo precioso al entrada del alojamiento y unos jardines muy cuidados. La habitación es grande y tiene una terraza muy agradable. Además puedes hacerte masajes en el mismo alojamiento. Si arreglaran algo el baño estaría mucho mejor ya que el exterior y la ubicación son de 10 y el personal de limpieza muy amable y atento.

La piscina es bastante pequeña aunque el que quiera darse un baño pues ahí la tiene. El baño está para tirarlo y cambiarlo entero. El wc sucio de lo viejo que es , la bañera algo incómoda con poca presión …. Y habían hormigas gigantes y algún lagarto que hacía caca encima de nuestro wc.

La salle de bain était extrêmement sale, au point d’hésiter à se doucher ou aller au WC je ne comprends pas qu’ils aient de si bons commentaires Aussi j’ai choisi cet établissement en last minute car il avait la piscine, sauf qu’elle était en travaux pendant mon séjour, et bien entendu personne ne l’a mentionné. Le personnel est souriant mais pas très aidant. Très déçue se ce séjour.

Accueil et lieux d’exception. Le personnel est présent et très accueillant. Une excellente gentillesse, toujours un mot, un sourire, une salutation. Nous avons pu aller prier dans le temple familial, moment suspendu. Encore un Signe de grandeur de ce peuple. Massage balinais extraordinaire
