A tranquil, nature-filled sanctuary with exceptional hospitality that offers true peace of mind

This was my second stay at this property, and it remains as awesome, clean, and peaceful as I remembered. The owner and the housekeeping staff are exceptionally attentive, ensuring every detail is taken care of. The property features a pristine garden that brings you as close to nature as possible, offering a quiet sanctuary away from the noise of traffic. It is truly a place that provides complete peace of mind.

Because the property features a beautiful open-air design set within a lush garden, you should expect to encounter nature—including insects, bugs, and the occasional frog. For me, this was not a concern at all, as it is simply part of the authentic Balinese experience. However, my primary concern was the Wi-Fi connection, which was rather weak. While I enjoyed the natural surroundings, a more reliable internet connection would be a significant improvement for future guests. I hope the management considers upgrading the signal strength

Nice guesthouse in a nice location

We loved our stay in Suka B&B. The rooms were large and had a nice outdoor bathroom. Mosquito nets were appreciated. The staff were kind and attentive and breakfasts were great. When we had a slight inconvenience with the room the hosts allowed us to change rooms quickly and easily. We would recommend this place to stay for a calm and relaxing environment in busy Ubud

Great location and value :)

We had a great time at Suka’s house! She was amazing with our children and helped us book a driver for a day tour. The laundry service was impeccable and the pool and garden area very well taken care of :) We were close enough to the city center (10 min walk) without being in the busiest area and we were thankful for that, as the Main Street can get very chaotic.

The bed was a little hard and we could kinda hear our next door neighbors but it wasn’t an issue at all!

heart of Ubud stay feels like dipped in the fields

the place is in he heart of Ubud and it feels like a dip in the fields with very nice view to the room and super close to everything, the managing lady is super helpful she took care of me and accommodated my early flights. the room gets cleaned everyday and its super clean. this place is great strongly recommend

Perfect quiet location in the centre of Ubud amongst beautiful greenery. Fab breakfasts brought to our cottage terrace; lovely pool; great air con; very clean & nice outside showeroom; staff so helpful arranging taxi's, massages, cottages next to each other.

Basic no frills in good location

The location is what makes this spot desirable. Really easy walk or scooter ride to palace and art market. And great cafes ride down the road from the bnb. Aircon worked good. The rest was mediocre here. Breakfast wasn’t worth it. No shampoo or conditioner. No washcloths or hand towels. No safe. No mini fridge. Only two bed pillows. Staff also didn’t help with bags. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great value for money and amazing location

It was a really nice stay. The room was actually really nice and the bed was really comfortable and there was a mosquito net too. Breakfast was really really delicious and fresh. The pool was absolutely lovely, had perfect water temperature and there was sunbeds and sun umbrellas there. The garden was really beautiful too. The staff were friendly and helpful all the time and they cleaned the room on a daily basis. Room was really clean in general. The Bathroom was a semi outdoor bathroom and the water pressure and temperature were good. Location was right in the center of Ubud and you had everything around: restaurants, supermarkets, fire shows, temples etc. Fairly quiet neighborhood away from the hassle of the main street. Very easy to get taxis from there to all attractions nearby.

Unfortunately they gave us a room next to the kitchen, so it was always really loud in the mornings. I wish they would have upgraded us as part of our honeymoon to the nice poolside garden villas. The aircon was a bit too close to the bed. Breakfast portions were a bit too small, especially the pancakes. Naturally there were some bugs and lizards in our bathroom but that's to expect with a semi outdoor bathroom. Everything else was great.

Suka's House B&B is a beautiful place where staying in Ubud...It is located very close to Ubud centre and also the staff was so kind...Koming, the owner, is a lovely person and all her family was so kind as well....Breakfast in the morning was so delicious and laundry service was very fast. I went for the cheaper room option that looked decent online. But the cheaper rooms were different from what I saw. The mold going up the wall and the shower that dropped all night was not appealing. I switched to the more expensive suite the next day and was happier there.

suka’s family is really nice, always wanting to help and smiling! the location is super and it is like living in the jungle. pool was super nice and the huts are comfy! they even asked us to stay in the bigger hut that was free at the time, we didnt need to go there but still very kind they asked.

We are very satisfied. I recommend it. Dili in many hotels in Bali, this one stands out. Booked a small room, asked us to move to a large one for an extra.payment. It is large, spacious, clean, beautiful firewood, lots of greenery, everything is well maintained. The territory is constantly being cleaned. Room cleaning every day. They ordered delicious food. Very nice staff. They always help. I needed a doctor, they helped me promptly. I'll give you 10 points. My son and I are very happy.

Hidden oasis, great value for Ubud

The garden was a private oasis, beautiful and lush plants surrounding 6 villas. The pool was a good size and very refreshing. The room itself was spacious and equipped with a dresser, vanity table, two night stands and a mirror. The bathroom was half open but still very private, the shower was a very relaxing experience. Wifi was amazing, great for videocalls. It was about 8 min walk to the center but there are tons of restaurants and warungs nearby.

We misread our booking and thought that breakfast was included so we ordered it and it didn't even occur to us that it wasn't free. It was the smallest hotel breakfast we had in all of our 5 different Bali hotels as it was just 1) 1 egg with 2 slices of toast and two small jams and 2) the thinnest pancake(crepe) with 6 thinly sliced bananas. It also came with a Balinese coffee and artificial juice, no fruits as indicated on menu. The reason it didn't occur to us that it wasn't free was because it was so incredibly basic so we were a bit shocked to see that we were charged 100k for that. That was our mistake so it didn't impact our impression of the hotel, but definitely don't order the breakfast. The room and patio was spacious. The patio had a beanbag chair and a table with 2 chairs. It would've been nice to have another bean bag chair and/or a sitting area in the room as we ended up just sitting on the floor or the bed. The A/C did not get cold but after all night it was mildly cool, not a problem at night but can get quite hot and uncomfortable during the day. The fan didn't help. Lastly, not a dislike but a suggestion is to provide a hand towel would be appreciated!

One of the best stays in Bali

Lovely location. Real quiet. Beautiful garden. Staff are super nice and we got our trips organised through the staff. Breakfast was served on the table outside your room which was a lovely experience in that lovely garden. Wifi strength and speed was fantastic! One of our best stays in Bali.

Mosquitoes love to chomp you when on the toilet. Its something we didn’t consider when seeing the open air toilet.

It locates in center so you can walk by yourself. The service of hotel is reasonable and suit for all travelers

I don't know why but lack of some amenities like comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and only a tower in my room. One thing I couldn't understand why everyone can't get grab, drives always turn off and it's tough to get grab.

Great location for exploring the town set in a beautiful garden with pool! I spent three nights here and found it a perfect stay for a solo traveller with the option to book transfers, shows and get laundry done all in one spot. After travelling for a month, it was great having the option to pop back to the guesthouse for a break in the middle of the day and get out of the busy streets. I would stay here again!

Anmazing host, great location and beautiful gardens

Koming was an incredible host. My partner was sick and she helped to arrange doctors to come to the villa and also make sure we had food and water. Brekky was delivered to the room every morning. The garden is beautiful and the pool is lovely. Perfect distance to walk into the centre of town but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Great wifi.

The bathroom was semi-outdoors (a gap between the wall and roof) which meant mosquitos were in the bathroom. There was also a gap between the bathroom door which meant mosquitos could get into your room. There was no fridge.

Great accommodation in walking distance of Ubud's main street, markets and the monkey forest (which is surprisingly good). The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. Suksma Koming and the other staff for a wonderful introduction to Bali 🙂

Seriously the best place I've ever stayed in Asia price/value wise!

We've been to many places but I've honestly never had a better experience than here for a price like this. I literally couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend getting the Deluxe suite (which is only a fraction of the price more), which are in the back garden by the pool. They are just an oasis of calmness in busy Bali. The place is just a short walk from all the busy streets in Ubud though which makes the location a double bonus. Koming is the most helpful host, the rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast is simple (not bad at only €1 though) but served at your private terrace which makes the experience even better. Would definitely reccommend this place!

Nothing really, but if I had to say 1 thing, it would be the showers, they were powerful and warm, but pointed straight at the wall which was a bit inconvenient.
