Great property for the price. It’s close to everything. The ac worked great and the room was clean. The staff was also very friendly. The breakfast was good and complementary.
I didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it was clean and had nice loungers.
Nothing.

Family friendly staff, clean pool, lovely simple breakfast ~ choice of omelette or banana pancake, mixed fruit plate, fruit juice, tea, coffee & toast with butter & jam.
Large 200+' room. Decent hot shower with good water pressure (Room 7) Excellent 24/7 wifi in all rooms & pool.
*Quieter ⁵ in the bungalows further away from road
I don't like to see the river so polluted with plastic but that has nothing to do with Puri Bebengan.

Wayan & his family, my room same as before, power shower, delicious breakfast, large pot of coffee, pool surrounded by jungle, large stone room with back terrace bordering river which can be heard at night. Very quiet accommodation as no through road apart from bikes.
There needs to be some small attention to detail like new small mats, new light switches and the pool area needs some renovation work.

Beautiful balinese style individual cottages which are quite spacious. There’s a creek that flows behind the cottage overlooking a dense mini forest look alike backyard. It also has a pool, which is frequently maintained by the owner. Overall a great stay with amazing host.
It’s a bit of walk from main road approx 250m, as taxis cannot enter the road. But you can hire a scooter and commute easily. There are 2 scooter hire places beside the property and they also rent out scooters, which can be handy.

Gardens were ok
I get it, it's a budget place - I've stayed in way cheaper places which were much cleaner, had a fridge, kettle, bins were emptied etc. The pool is nothing like in the photos it was barely full, also grotty looking, with dangerous broken concrete all around.
The main person / staff was really rude. We all have bad days but he was consistently rude. This is so unusual for Bali. I've travelled high and low in Bali for some 30+ years and never come across anything like it.
There was no fridge, no kettle, not even a glass or cup and no water at all for 5 days. The 'communal' fridge was not working.
One morning I was up at 0600 as was the staff / ?owner. Given that there was no kettle in the room, and I'd been awake for ages, I asked him for some boiled water to make myself a cup of coffee. He was standing next to his stove when I asked. He said 'No! You come back at 0800 or later'. I pressed the point and he eventually, angrily boiled a cup of water for me. As he handed it to me he said: "Go buy yourself a kettle!".
The only other time I asked for anything was for some ice. The woman with her ?3+ year old on her lap also said, "No. Baby upset, I need to look after'. ('Baby' was clearly fine. I know, I've had my own kids.)
There was mould throughout the bathroom, toilet, basin. It was just grotty. The aircon that was there didn't work for the first day and to be fair it was fixed a day later - little sleep the first night. The fan never worked and there were dangerous wires hanging out of the lights above your head in the bed (refer photos). It took them 4 days to empty my bin. Sheets / towels were never changed and room never cleaned once in 5 days.
The breakfast was minimal at best - tiny servings and I'm a very small, thin person. I don't need much to fill me ... I needed to go and buy a second breakfast elsewhere. Just go elsewhere. The whole thing was super unpleasant.

Great location! Quiet but very central. The rooms were very big and the bed was comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money!
The room was a bit run down, but the staff tried to help and we got air freshener.

The position is perfect, in the market and so close to the center of Ubud.
I totally recommend this place

Like the additional porch in the back towards the green. Good woth pool, but alot of chlorine what itches on the skin. Ner city location
Staff and owner appeared very carelessly unbothered about their guests, extremely small breakfast.
Extremely loud at night from the next door temple, loud from room neighbors, alot of mosquitos.
The room is not ventilated because where there been mosquitonet is now plastic film to keep aircon climate indoor. Very bad air quickly so need to keep booth back door and front door open.

The location of the Bungalows was very good. Walking distance to all the shops, markets and morning market. And to the other side you have the quietness of beautiful rice paddies.
The road next to our room was noisy and the bathroom is very old and not so nice. They used a very good photographer for marketing - the place is more rundown than on the pictures. (but that is true for most places in Bali)

We booked and paid for three nights, as soon aa we arrived there was a dead rat in a pool, breakfast was awful, staff who was cooking was going to the toilet and not washing their hands was pretty crap. We left the same day we arrived

I liked the location near by the rise fields, the silence and quiet nights
to far from the main roads, the toilets are in bad conditions

Loved our stay here. We stayed 3 nights. Situated in a great spot for easy access to the market and in a quiet location. The rooms were fine and traditional and it had a lovely terrace to sit out on. The breakfast was fruit and eggs or banana pancake and I had the pancake everyday which was delicious. The staff, all three of the men were lovely, the owner saw us out struggling to walk over a huge rain pond and picked us up and took us over it on his motorbike! And the teenage son was so sweet. 100% recommend.
Pool a little bit unclean but we still went in.

The price was low. The location is OK. There is a nice walk to rice fields behind the place.
Seems a bit run down. Cleaning could be better eg. the light switches were dirty. Some is noise from the street close by.

there is a good sized swimming pool which is very clean. A few more sun loungers and some shade would be nice. there was a good breakfast with fruit and omelette which was surprising considering the cheap price.

The location is perfect! Near to the central, and near to the rice fields as well. The stuff was incredibly kind, and the breakfast was very very good! The pool is clean, and the view is amazing from there. The accomodation is very simple, and not the newest, but it was fine.

Nothing. We couldn't stay after seeing the rooms. Giant ants, wasps and a Monitor Lizard swimming in the pool.
See above.
Wouldn't have been able to sleep a wink here without fear of some creature licking my eyelids while I slept.
Paid in advance too.
Kissed that money goodbye I guess.
Couldn't run away fast enough.

The location was exceptional and within minutes we were walking through rice paddies or through the street market into the centre of the town. We didnt need to hire a scooter to get around the local area which was very nice although they did offer this service for a great price! With breakfast included and location it was incredible value for money

Everything, I intended to stay only a night and i kept extending my stay, i stayed over 15 days, and it was absolutely peaceful and magical, there is something very special about this place, it vibrates unconditional love, and the owners are like family ! ♡ thank you for everything! It was the best place where I have stayed in Bali, and if I ever go back to Ubud I will only stay in here.
The swimming pool is magical, and the breakfast was so delicious!
Falling asleep every night with the sound of the river and waking up with the birds! Open my window and see the most beautiful shades of green, made me forget that i was in a city, i felt i was on a retreat! I found peace here. I can only recommend.

Pool was decent size and beautifully surrounded by jungle. Rooms are individual small houses with lots of space.

Very nice owners, great value for money.
Could be upgraded easily with a cupboard or even just a few hangers on the wall to put clothing.

Located in a secluded area, 500m from the main road. Free breakfast of banana pancake, fruits, coffee/tea. Lady staff joined us swimming in the pool & helped took pics of us.
Insufficient power point, need to unplug the lamp.
