breakfast was very basic but freshly made so good....location peaceful, excellent cultural feel...i went with family of 2 adults and 2 kids...good location in central ubud to explore around....thanks to the owners for their hospitability

overall clean and good considering its old feel but the cleanliness and well maintained stay makes up for it...

A truly wonderful stay ❤️ I stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. I arrived after 2 a.m., but the owner’s son warmly welcomed me, helped me check in and carried my suitcase to my room. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. Although breakfast is officially from 8–10 a.m., they were incredibly flexible. I once woke up after 10 and they still happily prepared breakfast for me. Another morning, when I needed to wake up early for sightseeing, they helped make sure I was awake and even brought me breakfast early. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being looked after by a kind local family. My room was cleaned every day, and the hosts were always attentive to little things. When I mentioned that I prefer green tea, they brought me some and provided a kettle. They also gave me a mosquito repellent for the room. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I especially loved the private terrace. Having breakfast there with coffee, flowers, birds and the sound of rain was so peaceful. After a long day exploring Bali, it was also the perfect place to sit and relax in the evening. The location is absolutely perfect. It is right in the center of Ubud, with restaurants of many different cuisines, a massage place and a burger restaurant all just a few minutes’ walk away. Ubud Market and Ubud Palace are also within easy walking distance. You really have everything you need right around you. And the sweetest touch was when I left — because it was my first trip to Bali, the host gave me a few little souvenirs, including a cute small pouch and a magnet. Such a thoughtful gesture! I left this homestay genuinely happy and grateful. The kindness, hospitality, cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere and perfect location made my stay unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️

One small suggestion Honestly, there is very little I would change. The only thing that would make this place even more perfect would be having a small spa or massage service on the property, ideally open until late in the evening. After a long day of exploring Ubud, it would be wonderful to come back, have dinner nearby and then enjoy a relaxing massage without having to go anywhere else. As for the mosquitoes, they are simply part of being in Bali and definitely not something I would consider the owners’ fault. They already provide a mosquito repellent for the room, which I really appreciated. Other than that, I truly had a wonderful stay and can’t think of anything else that needs improvement. ❤️

The place was perfect, it is run by the owners, an incredible experience to feel so near of the Balinese culture, I wish I could stay longer.
