Sedana Jaya

This property is great and very affordable, the location is great and the owner is friendly! You are 3 minutes from the main street and have tonnes of food places around as well as laundry shops and convenience stores. The bed is nice and big and the AC works well, shower is also good and powerful.

The only complaint I had was the noise, it is very noisy. There is multiple cockerels that like to crow very early around 4-5 am. Also, unfortunately there are children that are very noisy, shouting/screaming consistently every few seconds for hours at a time (not exaggerating) this happened mainly around 8-11am and then around 7-10pm. Its not the end of the world but Ubud has a lot of activities where you have to get up very early (2am, 5am, 6am etc) so you really need good sleep.

Gus and his family are super nice. I felt like at home. They answered every single question with really good recommendations. Close to everything and quite to sleep during the night with the AC working perfectly. Thanks a lot for opening the door of your home to me.

Wifi connection is not the best one. Just to keep in mind if you need it for video conferences. For basic things it’s alright.

The owners are very friendly and even lent me an umbrella and helped me with my luggage to the main road. It is in Avery peaceful area.

Filtered water to refill my water bottles since there is no recycling here yet. The room needs more lighting.

Sedana Jaya Homestay is a beautiful Oasis of Peace and calm in the chaotic city. You can relax and enjoy the garden anytime of day. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the center, but far from the crowds and traffic. The owners are very friendly and quickly respond to all your questions. They helped me with my luggage since the place is located off the main road and the road is only wide enough for scooters. They also lent me an umbrella. The place is very clean and quiet and you are surrounded by greenery. It is a great budget option very close to the center.

There was no filtered water to refill your water bottles and plastic isn’t recycled here yet. The room needs more light.
