Suryadina Guest House

The location was right in the center of Ubud. The room was spacious and clean. Big bathroom, air con fine. A lot of outside space and friendly staff also.

There were some mosquitoes in the room, and the fact that there were a lot of ants on the desk after I had some food. There were a few before too, but not as many. Not that it affected my stay much, but it would be nice to have none. Also, the bed was a bit smaller than I would have wanted, and the cover was too.

The place is excellent, the garden is wonderful, and the experience feels like visiting local family. The price-to-quality ratio is really good.

There is a lack of furniture for placing or storing items in living room and the bathroom.

Location, staff, clean and comfortable

The location is excellent. Easy walking distance to Radiantly alive yoga. It is set back on a side street and very quiet. Apart from a barking dog occasionally, it's very quiet and peaceful. I had really good sleeps here. It was really nice that breakfast included a fresh juice if you didn't want tea or coffee. The room itself was very lovely. Spacious and clean.

The bathroom (room 4) was really dirty. There is no proper shower. Just a shower head that you have to hold, so it was very awkward to have a shower. The check in experience left we wanting to leave straight away. I would have had I not just paid for 2 weeks up front. The man was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I was there, almost accusing me of not having a booking. Which was so confusing, because I had been messaging with the owner just before my arrival. I'm pretty sure the owner is not on site. After a few days I met Gus who was lovely. Over the two weeks I did come to like this place, except for the bathroom and the non overly friendly vibes.
