A wonderful introduction to staying in Bali.

This lovely little homestay is located in a very central area of the tourist part of Ubud. The hosts made us feel very welcome with a fresh pot of hot water, tea and Bali coffee waiting for us each time we returned to our room. The room was clean and the mosquito nets were much appreciated. The family compund was lovingly maintained. It was more than we expected and we were delighted.

Nice place

Very peaceful place. The owners are really nice and you can order breakfast really good for a cheap price. I’m cealiac and they made the pancakes gluten free. We will come back!

Perfect relaxing stay in a beautiful home

It was very homely and peaceful with a lovely garden right outside our door. Breakfast was home cooked by the family and was lovely and the family were always polite and helpful. Would highly recommend

This could be one of the nicest places we’ve stayed on our south east Asia trip, and one of the cheapest!

Such great value for money. Great location near bars and shops, staff were very helpful and welcoming. Room looked like a fancy hotel with made beds everyday and clean floors, and there was even a coffee station outside for you to sit at in the mornings. Even better, there was hot water for the shower! We couldn’t believe how lovely this place was for what we were paying and would without a doubt stay again.

Enjoy stay so much. only because of shindu home we stay a lot longer in Ubud

the rooms are located in a real Balin house . the whole family is amazing. you can sit down with them and talk about home layout, faith and culture. delicious breakfast, very clean and beautiful rooms. You take a shower looking at the stars. we wanted to stay in shindu home and just stay there all day. also there is a kitchen where you can cook meals and mixer (!!!) for smoothie 😍

firstly I would recommend this place on high priority the host family is very helpful and available Specially Aunty is sweet Aunty keeps hot drinking water twice a day which is awesome Host daughter did our checkin and she explained the room amenities kept in the room and gave us hot water for drinking. Uncle gave us bucket ,aunty gave us extra cutleries laundry service is too good ,breakfast is delicious . everyday room is cleaned by uncle (thank you so much didn’t get to thank you properly) hope to see you again had a lovely stay 10/10

More than perfect

This was the perfect place to start a trip in Bali, meeting an amazing family. The room was perfect, clean, calm, close to everything by feet and feels really like you’re home. You can ask everything, they are always looking for you to feel good at their place. Thank you again so much for all you did for me, I will always remember and hope to come back soon ! If I didn’t need to visit, I would stay my all trip their because it was perfect. To tell you I was sad to leave them as my trip was perfect. Thank you again !

We had such a great time here! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room had an excellent quality-price value. And it's a very traditional Balinese house. Very quiet and calm. Super close to the center of Ubud, you can walk there. They have their own moto parking which was also really good. You can find a lot of restaurants close by and the family is great. Thank you so much for your kindness to us!

very close to center, mosquito net over bed is always appreciated, kind staff, very cheap

definitely needs a renovation, the room is a little small but it’s only for sleep so it doesn’t really matter, but some more racks in the bathroom would be nice, you don’t really have space even for toothbrush
