Pondok Serayu

The property is great.

We booked several months in advance and paid Rp 3,060,000 for two nights. During our stay, we discovered the same room type advertised for just Rp 499,000 per night — less than one-third of what we paid. The property only offers one room type, and while we understand that free cancellation and breakfast can affect pricing, the difference of over Rp 2 million for two nights is difficult to justify. We contacted the property simply asking for an explanation of the substantial price difference. Unfortunately, we did not receive a satisfactory explanation. The accommodation itself was excellent, which is reflected in our positive ratings. However, the value for money was extremely disappointing. We would strongly recommend that future guests compare prices carefully before booking.

The room and outside was so clean and relaxing. The gardens were beautiful. Breakfast was also delicious.

The property was very well kept and clean. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and cared for. Martina was very attentive and kind. I’ll definitely be back!
