If you’re looking for a really cheap small hotel in a great location right in the center of Ubud, this is a good option, but don’t expect luxury (which honestly isn’t what you come here for anyway). On the positive side, the staff is super friendly, and the little terrace in front of the room is really pleasant with all the vegetation around and the sound of the small river flowing right next to it.

The slightly annoying parts: the room was fairly clean overall, but the bathroom cleaning could definitely be improved, the mattress was very thin and I could feel the wooden board underneath (I weigh 75kg), and be aware that the rooms don’t have air conditioning, only a ceiling fan, so it can get very hot and humid inside, even at night. As for the pool, it’s more like a tiled bathroom hole filled with water than a real swimming pool, with crumbling concrete sunbeds next to it that don’t really make you want to stay there but again, for the price, it’s acceptable.
