Ubud vibe 10/10. In reality is even better than on photos. Totally worth visiting

Perfectly located in the centre of Ubud. private place, we barely saw anyone. Courtyard is exceptional - very green and cozy. Live flowers inside the room. Just like on insta 😀

We had temporal problems with wi-fi. But probably it was because of a fallen tree couple of blocks away

Fantastic and spacious villas with pool, amazing breakfast and super kind staff!

We had an excellent stay and very much enjoyed the amazing and spacious villa, the pool, the fantastic breakfast, as well as the massages! The staff was super kind and helped us organise surprise for my birthday! I would definitely recommend it and come again next time :)

Excellent

Excellent hotel, the best hotel so far that we visited in Bali, the accommodation was very comfortable and clean, the service was excellent, very efficient, discreet and friendly! They have a very beautiful swimming pool surrounded by well entertained plants. Outdoors we can smell the incense! The breakfast was excellent, a really enjoyable experience, we wish we had stayed there longer! We will come back!!

Great quiet accommodation, close to the Ubud Palace, art markets and lots of food options.

The pool area was great, nice and quiet off the street location but still close to the markets and restaurants. Access to two roads directly from the property which was convenient. Helpful, thoughtful and attentive staff but not intrusive.

The perfect location to stay in Ubud - A dream for solo women travellers

My stay at 11 On Kajeng was a wonderful experience. This boutique hotel has the perfect location, close to the busy streets of Ubud, and yet, it is remote and hidden enough that it is very quiet. It's like a safe and beautiful bubble inside the town. The villas look amazing, the beds are huge and really comfortable, the design is well thought out, everything is beautiful and useful. Each villa is a proper designer's dream, honestly! I loved coming back to mine after walking all day or going to various activities such as yoga classes and jump in my pool for a refresher before heading back out again. The breakfasts were scrumptious, honestly the avocado toast is incredible and their smoothie bowl is soooo good! I had the floating breakfast one time and it was lovely. Finally, I want to give a big shout out to the team. They were all extremely nice, always ready to help and even anticipating my needs. Putu was especially graceful, nice, and caring. I really had a FABULOUS time there and there is NO negative point to raise for this stay!

Quiet, central, understated luxury

This boutique hotel is small and friendly, the rooms are immaculate and the pool area was so beautiful. It was pure "understated luxury" on a quiet little back street of Ubud. It felt like you were worlds away from the hustle and bustle but could walk to the rice fields or the main road through the markets. The bed and pillows were comfy, and the closed-in bathroom was great due to mosquito season. The staff were so lovely, always checking in and making sure I was comfortable. It had all the mod cons of a luxury resort and the breakfast options were restaurant quality!

Great location close to Ubud centre but a short walk in opposite direction to rice paddies. Breakfast really tasty. Staff couldn’t do more for us.

Excellence and elegance

What an absolute gem. Tranquil paradise in the heart of Ubud. First of all, the welcome here from staff went above and beyond - my driver was stuck in traffic from a special event at the temple, so the front desk took a scooter to come rescue me and drive me on the side streets. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The location is perfect - 10 min walk from the centre of Ubud, but tucked away enough to be quiet. Close to the rice fields walk, but far enough to avoid the mosquitos. The room was impeccable, beautifully designed. Bathroom was lovely. Air conditioning was great. Floating breakfast was such a treat, highly recommend.

A trip to heaven and back

This is a piece of heaven. The villa is luxurious and the best I’ve stayed at in Bali after many visits to Bali. Love after a hot day you come to a villa which is all you need in terms of size and beautiful in terms of comfort and aircon. The service from the moment we arrived to when we left was outstanding ❤️. The ubud market is at your doorstep and restaurants etc a 15 min walk. In the heat sometimes it was hard to walk back so would catch a grab. Just a tip to get picked and dropped off at side with no steps. We caught a grab to have dinner at Bonnie which is over the other side of ubud. The breakfast is amazing and better than expected by our pool (we booked the sunset deluxe villa). Ubud is crazy busy but coming home to this villa was the best!!! 5 stars ⭐️

Perfect location in the middle of Ubud. A nice quiet area just a few minutes walking to more busy area. The staf was amazing. Putu manages the place amazing and everyone is very helpfull. The breakfast is very good and good options. The place is very lovely and green. Will recommend this to everyone when you stay in Ubud

Sanctuary in Ubud

A beautiful sanctuary right in the heart of hectic Ubud. The villas ( only 5) are tastefully furnished, air conditioned, rooms filled with fresh flowers, serviced daily, free non-plastic filtered water, a lovely pool virtually private, and the staff so kind and always available. A hearty breakfast is served poolside, from a choice of 5 menus. The smoothie bowl with fresh fruit and granola is fabulous. Staff come and light mosquito coils at dawn and dusk - we never had a problem with insects. A beautiful garden and access to one of the quieter market lanes. Staff arranged all transport for us and spoke to tour guides where our language skills were lacking. The complex is only 8 years old and well maintained.

Just magical!

Such a great vibe when you walk into this magical place! I was greeted by the team and I arrived unexpectedly very early and was just going to drop my bag but they had the room ready for me at 10am (check-in is usually at 2). All the staff know your name and are super friendly. The whole place is so lush with beautiful trees, butterflies, dragonfly’s and the villa is just so cute, the styling is beautiful. A very calm quiet lil oasis in the middle of ubud chaos - close to great restaurants and a short walk for me to radiantly alive yoga. Unfortunately I could only stay one night but I’ll definitely be back, the staff were also very accommodating on check out and I left my bag to pick up in the afternoon.

The only thing was plastic straws - unnecessary and really important for bali to reduce waste.

Highly recommend for anybody visiting Ubud.

It is a lovely, very well run hotel with pool where management and staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble including booking excursions and massages / treatments in our room. The hotel is in a great quiet location and is easy walking distance to both the relaxing rice fields and the centre of bustling Ubud.

There is no gym or restaurant but a great breakfast was served on our pool terrace and dinner can ordered in.

The property is located close to Ubud Center and it’s basically on the street that leads to the rice fields.

Being located in a “mini-jungle” there are plenty of noise during night. I couldn’t sleep the way I wanted due to the noise.

I recommend this property for solo travellers and/couples.

It was very peaceful, clean and the room was spacious. The staff were very attentive, caring and helpful. Having two different entrances was great for access with suitcases and if you don’t like stairs! Having different breakfast options so you could have a variety if you were staying longer than 3 nights was good. The breakfast was also plentiful. Great proximity to the Sweet Orange walk, market lane, mini mart etc.

A truly magical stay for our anniversary

11 on Kajeng is an oasis, a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. It is so private, peaceful and relaxing. Each room is a little villa beautifully furnished. We had our own private pool which comes with the premier sunset villla. Breakfast was served on our private terrace each morning and was delicious. The staff made our wedding anniversary so special with rose petals on the bed, sparkling wine on ice and a couples massage. This truly was a magical stay. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to love this place, but it fell short of expectations. This is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Although the rooms are stunning with furnishings, there is no restaurant on site, with no easy option of external food deliveries at night if you don’t want to go out. I checked with the hotel prior to arriving that this was an option & was informed it was. In reality they only offered delivery from their sister restaurant bar in town which sells burgers & pizza. Also pool bar is never staffed & no spa on site. It is a tiny hotel with not much ambience. Well over priced for what it is, especially considering other options in the area with private pool rooms. I had 2 bookings & wanted to cancel the second one so I could stay somewhere that was more suited to my requirements but the hotel refused, which was very disappointing as this was a special birthday treat. At $390-$420 AUD per night for a private pool room it is more expensive than most 5 star hotels in the area. I won’t be back, and suggest looking at alternatives for this price range.
