Abangan Bungalow

I loved staying here. The location is very convenient for exploring Ubud, but the hotel itself is set back far from the main road so it doesn’t feel like you are staying in the city. My room was very comfortable and peaceful, and had a lovely view of the jungle and river below. I loved relaxing on the front porch in the morning and evening, and the new restaurant was great! Delicious food- definitely worth getting breakfast included. On top of everything, the staff were very kind and welcoming. I felt very at home during my stay here, and if I come back to Ubud, I would stay here again!

I firstly was given a bunglow which was upstairs/downstairs, it didn't suit me as the stairs were problamatic given my knees are a bit dodgy. They gladly changed my room to ground level and it was most satisfactory. The bed was great, the hot water was sufficient, they stated it could take a bit of time to come through, but it didn't take much time at all. I loved the staff, within no time they felt like family. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all with a great big beautiful smile. It was peaceful, with the occasional practice next door at the Dalem Temple it was nice just to hear it.

I would have liked a bit more room for preparing my own breakfast, some more utensils and better lighting in the bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble though when I asked for what I needed. I think they could create some sort of shelving and a place to prepare a few things. Everything else was wonderful.

Chicha and all the other staffs were very helpful I booked this hotel for my elderly mother. They help her with transportation, food, shopping guidance. I will definitely recommend them whenever next time we’ll go back to Bali. We’ll stay there.

Pool was nice! The location of the property also worked pretty well for us, lots of good restaurants around.

The property had a feel to it like it had been abandoned, and looks very different to the photos online (this could’ve just been the bungalow we were put in)
