Best Hostel in Ubud. Possibly best for price in all of Bali.

Everything about the premises exceeded my expectations and the staff were so accommodating and kind. The free breakfast and wifi was great and the pool was beautiful.

I think a couple revised additions to the decor and 'vibe' of the place would do it some good. perhaps a projector with 'movie nights' or some other 'in house activities'. That being said it was a fantastic

I loved it!!!

Absolutely I recommend!! This was the first hostel I stayed in so I don’t have much to compare it to, but everyone I met there also said it was fantastic!! The place was cleaned every night if not every other, it was comfortable, had lockers for my stuff, super affordable for someone travelling cheap and comes with free breakfast which was delicious! I really loved that it was easy to meet other travellers, the place was really nice looking wise and very comfortable with the pool and all. It’s very close to the centre, not too far from anything at all, and if you want to travel further it is very easy to get a grab taxi or bike. The staff is really nice and accommodating, as well as having tourists activities for a not much extra price, I didn’t do any personally but they looked great! Me and everyone I spoke to there were very happy here and I would have loved to stay longer, and I’d definitely go back! I hope you do go and have a great time!

I really tried to think in order to be a helpful reviewer, but I cannot say anything negative about this place. The only thing is that the blankets are not the best (a bit thin), and you need to pay a bit for a towel if you didn’t bring one. However I think that is completely fine for the price you’re paying.

We booked the family room and when we arrived it totally did not look like the pictures of the familyroom. It was way older and had a bunk bed instead of 2 singles. Only airconditioning upstairs. Bathroom and overall really old. When we said something about it that it is totally different from the pictures, they said that we booked the old room?????? And that there are 2 sort of family rooms and we booked the old one. But if you look on booking there is only 1 family room option and if you look on the pictures that are with the family room it is not what we got….. really strange and you cant let people pay pull price for something they did not book.

Lovely place but the rooms need some attention to match the outside.

As with previous reviews, the outdoor areas were all lovely and kept to a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room on the other hand felt like it hadn’t been properly renovated in a while, some bigger things, such as a light switch just hanging from the wall to more minor such as the toilet fill tap leaking (but creating a permanent small puddle in the bathroom). The fan had been removed but then poorly plastered over. With a little effort it could be so much nicer. To their credit I reported the issues and they resolved them that day.

Really great stay

Really cool hostel. We stayed in the 28 bed dorm which was really comfortable and not at all noisy. The beds are separated in groups of 4 so it doesn’t really feel like a 28 bed dorm. Pool is lovely, breakfast is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is PERFECT!

One of the cleanest hostels i’ve stayed in over the last 8 months. You can also book trip to Batur. And comes with breakfast which is really good.

The staff were great. They were all so lovely and helpful. The facilities were good and the food was so tasty and cheap.

Best place for a solo traveler, the shops are right at your doorstep and the hostel itself felt so home like.

It did not feel like I was at a hostel, I would highly recommend booking here.

Stayed in a private room, do not recommend. The bed was so uncomfortable, the room was dirty, no hairdryer, staff didn’t show me around or tell me anything. Lots of noise til 3am

The location is great - easy to walk around but also quiet. The pool is nice and clean and the grounds are very beautiful. Room was fine for the price.

There is no staff on site at night and they are not contactable. A group were being really loud outside our room until 2am and there was no one to resolve the issue. I would not feel safe staying here as a female solo traveller.

Breakfast was amazing! Clean, spacious in the pool dorm, Location is good, it’s just off the main road so not loud. And the set up with the toilets and showers by the pool dorm is great! Super social set up by the pool. This has been my favourite hostel so far!

The door in the dorm near the pool makes a loud noise when it opens or closes, it kept waking me up. Aircon could have been colder, it’s warm on the top bunks. I would recommend to try get a bed away from the door because you can hear people taking outside. Otherwise ear plugs do just fine

Exceptional

my stay was amazing, the staff were super friendly and helpful! I booked into a shared room for my first night, then after a last minute change of plan, the staff were able to accommodate me into a private room, allowing my partner to join me for the remainder of my stay. The pool onsite is lovely, surrounded by trees with areas both in the sun and the shade. Breakfast is served until 11 am which worked brilliantly, meaning I was able to go to a morning yoga class before hand (central location also made this possible). I’d recommend staying here, I felt welcomed as a solo traveler and continued to have a great time throughout my stay. 10/10

L’auberge est conviviale et bien située. Les chambres sont confortables. Les chambres sont nettoyées tous les jours. Le personnel est serviable. Les excursions sont faciles à organiser et à des prix préférentiels. La piscine est top. J’ai même prolongé mon séjour.

Prévoyez un peu de temps si vous voulez dîner les commandes mettent du temps à être préparées car il y a une seule personne en cuisine.
