Comfortable stay in a tropical paradise, near the center of Ubud.

The property is beautiful, with the units opening into a courtyard which is a tropical paradise. The owner is friendly and helpful. I didn't have breakfast included in my package, but she brought a beautiful plate of fruit for me in the morning anyhow, and helped me with transportation. It is centrally located, and only a short walk to restaurants and shops.

When I first arrived, I climbed a steep set of stairs to the property, but the owner quickly showed me the back entrance which avoided the stairs, so that was much more convenient.

Tropical Oasis in the City

Best place I stayed in Ubud! Very well maintained. I especially loved having my own filtered water in the room. The front porch area was like a tropical paradise. The details made it feel like coming home. Plenty of storage and counter spaces. Fridge. Tea and a (hilarious!) bottle opener. Owner was helpful. Great area. I Will be back!

This is a special place with a special owner and I will definitely come back!

The owner, Kadet, is an incredible person, very caring, attentive to details and worried about their guests well-being. The rooms have a front porch that faces a peaceful lovely garden full of messages and with the best vibe. The place is quiet, with birds singing in the morning and at the same time it’s right behind the a main street full of restaurants, drugstore and attractions. Breakfast is very healthy and delicious and the room offers mineral water (natural and hot) and coffee and tea are available at all times. I must add that when I felt sick one day during my stay Kadet gave me all the assistance and attention, making me feel very safe. For lonely travelers like myself this is priceless.

Peaceful and authentic stay in the Ubud center

Peaceful and authentic stay in the Ubud center We had a wonderful stay thanks to Riki’s and Kadek’s warm hospitality. The room was spotless, with a comfortable king-sized bed, great A/C, and a lovely terrace overlooking the garden. We appreciated the little touches like fresh fruit and biscuits in the mornings, plus the fridge, safe, and unlimited water refills. The location is perfect—right in the center of Ubud for walking to most places, yet on the edge of town to avoid heavy traffic when leaving by car. The guesthouse also offers a true Balinese atmosphere, with its temple, garden, and daily offerings, while still giving us plenty of privacy. Highly recommended!

Lovely oasis in the heart of Ubud hosted my a lovely, local family.

I had a fantastic stay at Krisda Guest House—it was everything I needed and more. The host, her son, and the whole family were absolutely lovely—friendly, genuine, and always happy to help. They answered all my questions and regularly stopped for a chat, which made me feel very welcome. Nothing was ever a problem, and they even brought me some snacks and a fresh coconut—a really thoughtful gesture. The room was spacious and included a well-equipped kitchen with everything I needed, including tea and coffee. There was also a large water tank for drinking water, which they refilled twice during my stay. I really appreciated this—not only was it convenient, but it was also much more environmentally friendly than using plastic bottles. Outside, there was a large porch with a sofa, chairs, and a table where I could sit, work, and enjoy views of the beautiful garden. The location was ideal. Although the guest house is quiet and peaceful, set in a lovely garden, it's just steps away from the main street of Ubud. Shops, restaurants, and everything else you might need are all within walking distance. It’s also very close to several beautiful nature walking trails, so if you enjoy walking or hiking, the location is perfect. If you're looking for a peaceful stay in the heart of Ubud, hosted by a kind local family, this is the place for you. Five stars—I’ll definitely be back.

Little oasis in the center of Ubud

The property is beautiful, even though in the middle of the chaos of Ubud, it is still very peaceful and quiet. The location is superb. The staff very nice. I loved that you have a big gallon of water instead of plastic bottles. The bed is comfortable and the room was spotless.

Lovely hosts, great value for money!

The owners (mother and son) are both soooooo lovely, always smiling (bright future in front of you Ricky!) The room and bed are spacious and clean, bed is comfortable. There is a big fridge and a kettle/ tea cups in the room (highly appreciated!), airco works great. Location is very good (entrance from main road but property tucked away from the noise of the cars and scooters). Thick walls so you can't hear your neighbours (but you should always have your earplugs on you when travelling to Bali, just in case it..rains heavily at night, for example).

just go , you will gonna love it

This is one of those places where it is really hard to say goodbye. Here, before anything else, you will find something that is becoming rare nowadays, called love. Love lives in this place and with this family. About rooms and features, there are many reviews in many places about that, absolutely everything works fine for me. What I want to register here is that you will find a family here that will welcome you with a lot of happiness. Thank you Kadek for making me feel part of your family in this Kuningan. It’s hard to say goodbye, so I rather say sampai jumpa. Suksma.

The owner and their family were truly wonderful people. Staying here gives you peace of mind when visiting Ubud. I'm really glad I was able to spend time here before returning home. Although it's close to the center, it's very quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the relaxing time spent on the terrace, with the table and sofa. When I come to Ubud again, I definitely want to stay here.

Amazing and would never forget!

If I could give this 1000+, I would! Kadek (added a lovely photo of her) and her family are the sweetest. Everything was fantastic, their place is like a home away from home- not just because their house is very lovely and clean, but because they really welcome you in their family. She was happy to share their every day life practices and the importance of them. I'm excited to come back here and share this beautiful family with any friends of mine coming to Ubud!

We loved our stay here! The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessities. The location is fantastic—away from the main road noise, yet within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and the center of Ubud. Kadek is an absolute angel! I love my stay so much at Krisda Ubud guest House that I came back! Feels like home 🥰 beautiful garden that give a very peaceful vibes while you are still in the center of Ubud. Lots of delicious warung few minutes from there and 2 nice yoga studios (alchemy and intuition flow). Most of all Kadek and her family are so welcoming, kind and caring. I really enjoy talking with them 😊 I recommend 100% and will be back there if one day come back to Ubud. Suksma 🙏

A true gem in Ubud

Really nice rooms, with large bathroom, good shower, comfortable bed, hot and cold drinking water fountain, good Wi-Fi, and effective A/C. Spectacularly good value for money. Wonderful quiet garden, that is an oasis of calm from the chaos that's Ubud's main streets. These are only a few yards away, but you'd never know. (The location is about 500m away from the center of Ubud.) Even better hostess, who welcomed us with a drink made from their own flowers, gave us treats (perhaps because of the Hindu festival we overlapped), helped arrange taxi rides to the airport, and was just really friendly. A spectacularly good find: one of the nicest two places we stayed at (out of 8) on this trip.

There's nothing to say about the stay, but getting there was a little tricky because satnav systems will go on a slightly weird route. The location on GMaps is correct, but it might be easier to aim for the Crazy Cat cafe, and then walk 20m up the hill to the small staircase on your left. Cash only - but there's lots of ATMs nearby.

This guesthouse is a true gem tucked away in the heart of Ubud’s center. It’s a family-run establishment, and the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their genuine Balinese kindness and hospitality made my stay in Ubud truly special. Without a doubt, it has been the highlight of my trip so far, and I would eagerly return.

Amazing homestay experience!!

If you are looking for homestay experience in calm and peaceful place you should stay in Krisdas homestay, we will come back!!! For sure!!! They have 4 rooms inside the their family garden and just next to family templete… The rooms are big and clean, confortable beds and most importantly you have a fast wifi and AC , hot water and coffe/tea/ water inside the rooms. Kadek is a lovely person and she offered us to join her in her daily offering in their family temple and we also make yoga together within the peaceful garden… We had a great time together, we really felt like we are at home… The location is great next to the main street, if you look for laundry and motorbile rental next to the homestay you will find choices. Thank you Kadek😊see you soon!

Simply fantastic guesthouse with the best hosts

Kadek and her family are some of the kindest people I have met in Bali, and so probably in the world. Their hearts are open as they open the doors of their guest house for a most excellent. Everything they do is with care and consideration and a beautiful smile. I appreciated all the small touches they offered to make my stay feel like I was truly at home. I look forward to returning many times. Thank you from my heart for such a lovely sanctuary to rest and enjoy Ubud.

We lived here for a week, there are no complaints about the room, clean, hot water, delicious breakfasts! Treats😍quiet place, green cool yard. Very cute little homestay with the nicest owner! She cared about us and tried to help us wherever she could, always with a smile. The room was comfortable and clean and it’s not far from all the restaurants and things to do. Every morning we got homemade breakfast with view of the garden and house temple. If you’re looking for a place with character that’s the one!

Incredibly lovely hostess. I spent a very interesting week in this guesthouse and really felt like I was at home. comfortable bed, calm atmosphere, despite the fact that it is near the main street. Nearby there are many shops, cafes, laundry, everything you need. The hostess and I went together to the ceremony at the local temple, she gave me a costume, it was very beautiful and interesting. We did yoga together, chatted, she taught me how to make daily offerings. I learned a lot from her about the local culture and traditions. Also in the room was a cooler with hot and cold water, which is very convenient. Fast internet.

Lovely homestay in the heart of Ubud

The place has a very beautiful garden and its conveniently located in a nice area in the center of Ubud. The host is very kind and she helped us with many questions and taught us a beautiful hindu ritual and about Bali culture. Breakfast is also great and coffee and tea are available at your room when ever you feel like it. We will definitely come back one day!
