Wonderful helpful and friendly staff, perfect location, beautiful and pool

The gardens were gorgeous and staff were so warm friendly and welcoming 😊 my room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Bed was very comfortable.

There were unfortunately some noisey guests but only for one night and sometimes the music from surrounding restaurants at night was a bit loud. There were some gaps between the walls and roof in the bathroom that was filled in with polystyrene.

Lovely small hotel in Ubud

Beautiful little hotel in a quiet part of Ubud. Lovely pool area and lots of places to eat nearby without being bothered by traffic. An easy walk to the Monkey Forest, longer to the other parts of Ubud.

Villa Sonia was totally awesome. When in Ubud you MUST stay at the Villa Sonia.

The room we had was very spacious and had a nice decor. When we got in the room we thought we had the wrong room as it had a bottle of wine, "Welcome" written in rose petals and to top it off the bathtub was filled with water and floating on the water covering all the surface was flower petals with the word "Welcome". The restaurant breakfast and supper menu was very good. The staff service was amazing. The location in Ubud as great. Villa Sonia exceeded our expectations.

Another great stay

The rooms are a really good size. The staff had done a beautiful floral welcome sign on the bed and in the bath. Bed is comfortable, air con is adequate. Breakfast was adequate everyday and so relaxing upstairs with a lovely breeze most days. The hotel is in a great spot with plenty of restaurants and massage places to choose from. Hotel wifi is excellent. Staff at Villa Sonia are exceptional as well.

The room was a bit musty and U definitely noticed each time U returned to the room. Shower pressure wasn't great either. Neither of those things would stop me from returning though.

It was lovely. The room was clean, the staff attentive and friendly. The food was fabulous. Will definitely rebook.

There is very little that I would be negative about. If you are looking.g to be close to the action, this is not what you. iu are looking for. It is quaint, quiet, and easily accessible by grab taxing bikes.

Our stay in Villa Sonia was exceptional. The staff were lovely, enthusiastic and always went out of their way to help us have a great experience. Our room was beautiful made, very clean and was made up nicely every day. We went with our 2 young children and felt it was quite family friendly. The food was great and service again was just lovely. This was our very first accommodation in Bali and it has certainly set our standards high. Thank you so much Villa Sonia.

Suite was lovely and spacious with outdoor space. Central but in a quiet peaceful area. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh options. Pools had the sun all day.

Wonderful location near central Ubud, comfortable, spacious and clean room. Would recommend and stay again!

Perfect location, set far enough away from the hustle and bustle and noise of central Ubud but still within easy reach. It’s a quiet area with really trendy restaurants and cafes nearby. There were two good sized swimming pools and the small restaurant served a decent breakfast.

I was located on an end room which I think was next to a staff closet of some kind as a cupboard door being opened and closed regularly could be heard, not a major issue.

Comfortable, large room right next to the pool. The staff were amazing, kind and exceptionally helpful (especially Yuli). The vibe was very relaxed and lovely. Would happily return!

On arrival to my room I adored the fresh flower bouquet and fresh fruit plate. Also the welcome flowers in the bath and on bed, absolutely beautiful 🌺Staff were wonderful always. The breakfast was nice with lovely views of the main pool and well maintained garden. Shower was amazing with extra large shower head.

The spa needs to ensure clean sarongs on massage table.

A beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility

Villa Sonia is a beautiful hidden gem, the staff are so helpful and friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, the spa is excellent and the location is ideal if you don’t want to be directly in the ubud madness, there are plenty of lovely places to eat outside and it’s also right next door to monkey forest. We would 100% stay here again. It was perfect.

Great stay in a safe and peaceful location

Villa Sonia is set in a beautiful quieter village of Nyuh Kuning on the south side of the sacred monkey forest. Beautiful pool and lovely breakfast service. Rooms are dated but well looked after and nice and big. Flowers on arrival are lovely and the staff just so friendly. Luh was such a Professional and sorted out our booking without fuss. Would definitely stay here again

I will recommend this hotel until the day I die. The staff were phenomenal. The service was unmatched. I’ve been in the world. The food was stunning. The rooms were immaculate and just giving honeymoon vibes. They really did make us feel so special. It was my birthday when we arrived and the room was covered in petals just so romantic. We actually could not find this enough enough for everything they did. We went to get massages on one of the days and it was the best massage I’ve had of my life and again I would go back for their service. We stayed in one of the villas and we had a pool pretty much to ourselves honestly could not recommend this place in the enough and I cannot wait to have an excuse to come back.

Excellent place to stay in Ubud

Really lovely place - we stayed here for 10 days whilst in Ubud. Staff were amazing, the room was great, location was ideal for us. We loved the swimming pools and the floating breakfast was fun! There is also a spa onsite which was great and so reasonable

Fantastic!

Villa Sonia was fabulous! We had the Balinese rooms and we loved the spaciousness and the balcony with the beautiful view over the pool. The staff are gorgeous too, every single one of them! Location is superb! I have been to Ubud many times and have decided that this is the best location for getting around, restaurants and the less busy vibe. Value for money is amazing too! We will be back.

Happy we chose to only stay here during our stay!

We stayed here for 10 nights and loved it! The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and staff went above and beyond! Location was great. We did the honeymoon package and enjoyed their spa, cooking class, romantic dinner, & floating breakfast! We look forward to when we come again!

Green, quiet and peaceful place

We returned to this beautiful place in a quiet area of Ubud and we had another pleasant stay. This time we booked a room on the upper floor which was large and with really pretty interior details. We also had a big terrace which looked over the whole garden. The bedroom overall was clean and bright. The pool, the garden, the restaurant and the staff are really nice. Keep it up!

Beautiful place to stay

I needed a rest and the place was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful and brought food and drinks to my room. The shower was spacious with good pressure. I used the pool in the evening to cool down. The grounds are immaculately maintained. Highly recommended.
