Lovely garden, delicious breakfast and very helpful & friendly staff. The room & balcony are spacious, they also offer a shuttle ride from hotel to Ubud Palace area. There are convincente stores and restaurants nearby, totally recommend to visitors who enjoy the tranquil of Ubud.

This hotel was amazing! Excellent location, beautiful resort and surrounding area, close to centre but also lots of options to eat in the street. Nicest hotel I ever stayed in, staff super helpful. Worth the upgrade to the private villa with pool.

I’m going to start by saying I was slightly hesitant because there is just such an abundance of options in Ubud, although for a true Ubud experience, this hotel did not miss a beat. I consider myself a very particular person, and I am telling you right now, do not hesitate to book the family room with private pool here. Here are the reasons why… - beautiful nature filled property, beautiful gardens, little animals everywhere, we sat on the veranda with my two little boys and spotted butterfly’s, squirrels; monkeys swinging in the trees, and way more. - the bathroom was something else. It’s not what you would be used to - but that is the point. I asked reception to organise a flower bath for my partner, the bath looks over the jungle, it was nothing short of amazing. - the staff is so attentive, kind and thorough. - the free breakfast on the balcony every morning was amazing. - the location was so excellent. We travelled into the city centre a few times via motorbike and every time I returned to the street we were located on it was such a sense of relief. You will be located on a street full of small restaurants, minimart right outside, massage parlours, bars etc, anything you need except pharmacy is on the street. And the best part, you are about a 10 minute walk to the city centre, which just happens to be accessed through a shortcut through the monkey forest. So pretty much as soon as you walk out of your hotel and turn right you will begin to see all the wild life on your actual street which my kids loved. - the room was very clean and well maintained, huge veranda, huge bathroom, huge bed and then 2 more beds in the room. - don’t know really what else to say for this place other than don’t hesitate to stay here in the family room with private pool. They set out to exceed all expectations and really focused on the small things to enhance your stay further. Very impressive.

Beautiful and unique! You are in nature and it is wonderful. Plus a great location for dining, monkey sanctuary and getting to other activities in Ubud.

Gorgeous large room with outdoor balcony and day bed area. Large comfortable bed and bedding. Beautiful pool area with visiting wildlife (monkeys!) which was never busy and was a lovely place for the included afternoon tea Fabulous room service breakfast which was always served exactly at the requested time, beautifully prepared and generous with portions And not at all to forget the wonderful, friendly, helpful and professional staff who all looked after us so well including when a nearby volcano caused us flight delays. Thank you!

Only one thing - to was you either had to have a bath (which was very large and beautiful but would take ages to fill) or stand in the bath holding the shower and directing it to yourself as there was no wall mount for the shower and no shower curtain. Please could you consider a wall mount for the shower in future.

This exceeded all expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was beautifully decorated with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the rain forest where we got to relax with a drink and eat our breakfast.

Bali is very busy and noisy and this accomodation is very well isolated and quite and still on a good location. The only "noise" you can hear is the nature and animals around and we enjoyed it. The garden is a real piece of haven, so calming and relaxing. The bathroom is outdoor and it has a small pond so know you will be sharing it with some small fish and frogs and we had a bat sleeping over every night...so just be prepared for some animal encounters-for us it was amusing. Staff is very friendly and nice and room is being kept clean and tidy every day.

Beautiful serene location with ponds full of lotuses, fish. peaceful. Very kind staff who entertained our 2.5 year old boy. shuttle to Ubud. Good food options just a few minutes walk away. Close to the monkey forest - we had a couple of visitors we enjoyed.

Superb location close to jungle and river, easy walk to yoga studios and cafes. Pool near Yamuna room, was quiet and only shared with one other room which was mostly empty during our stay.

The space is amazing in a true Bali arhitecture. Near the city centre but really quiet and you feel that you are in the jungle. The villa is in a huge garden looking to a ravine with private pool. Trully amazing!

Wonderful stay nearby money forest. My room was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was delivered to the room and very delicious. I would love to come back here!

Felt home there. Exceptional service, spectacular view from the terrace, nice pool and delicious breakfast. Wondering coming again!

Lovely room within a beautiful quiet setting in cute Nyun Kuning village with free shuttle to Ubud town Centre. Breakfast on your own terrace overlooking waterlily pond each morning was a highlight. Staff were kind and couldn’t do enough for you. Lots of nearby cafes & restaurants.

Mix up with Booking.com on the room we booked. However, it was sorted out in the end.

Location was good, the hotel provided a shuttle to go to UBUD centre, Staff were humble & friendly. . . Property is full of greenery & plants. . . Food provided on order was great as well. . .

Food lizard in our bathroom multiple times which staff removed upon request. Property & seems to be bit old & pillows were not comfortable at all.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Relaxing peaceful surroundings. Staff were super friendly & efficient. Shuttle bus into town. Walking distance into village.

Bed was hard. No tea making facilities in room, though could’ve ordered it on the phone.

Alam Shanti was such a hidden gem - I'm very glad to have discovered this place. Everything is exceptional - the quiet but convenient location, the efficient and warm staff, the drop dead gorgeous and extremely comfortable interiors and pool and the delightful breakfast and evening snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience the greenery and serenity of Ubud in the most traditional way. We stayed in Yamuna room.

Wunderful villa in a dream of a garden. Very private atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. Close to Monkey Forest so monkeys come coatin you time by time. They stole one of our breakfasts which was a once in a lifetime experience. We enjoyed it though. Go there 👍

Exceptional staff, huge rooms with huge outside seating, thoughtful service provided throughout.

Everything was great. 1 nit - there is no shower but a hand shower but it isn’t a big deal.

Beautiful property, in a quieter section of Ubud but still close to the centre. Staff are all extremely friendly and attentive to any questions or requests.

Loved everything

Everything was perfect, the Gangga villa on the first floor with open bathroom and view and with private pool is extraordinary. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast is super delicious, the staff is extra kind! Thanks for everything!

The only thing that was strange is, that monkeys came in the morning to the terrace, to the open bathroom and once also into the room... They are not dangerous, but may steal things, so be careful, keep the doors closed!

Breakfast was wonderful, people were wonderful, outlook of the villas were wonderful, location was convenient. Magical gardens and relaxing vibe.

Bed was a bit creaky, bathroom tiles a bit slippery for a toddler.
