The welcome at reception was extremely warm and courteous. We were received with great kindness, respect, and hospitality. The entire team, including the maintenance staff, was wonderful, helpful, and always happy to answer our questions. The location is excellent—very close to Lake Brienz and a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area on day trips.
The pool was excellent, although the water was quite shallow.

Unfortunately, the breakfast did not match the overall quality of the hotel, with limited variety and disappointing quality.

I would like to highlight what a wonderful experience we had at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the lake, which made everything so convenient.
The staff were not just friendly and helpful, but genuinely exceptional. I had read all the wonderful comments about the staff before our stay, and I can personally confirm that every single one of them is true. Everyone at reception and throughout the hotel was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive.
The breakfast was also wonderful, with a great selection, and we truly enjoyed it. I had originally booked a room with a lake view but without a terrace, and upon arrival, the lovely lady at reception kindly upgraded our room. We were given a beautiful room with a lake view and a balcony, which was such a lovely and unexpected bonus.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hotel deserves the highest possible rating, and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely return and stay here again. Highly recommended! ❤️

I liked the view from the room and the balcony. The room was clean and the property was properly maintained.
The staff was too rude. Except joy the reception staff. No one was cordial in there interaction. They kept frown faces constantly ..especially the breakfast staff seemed constantly irritated and never exchanged any greetings. That was too bad.we don’t pay to get worst experiences .
