Excellence experience

As it's name as "Vintage" hotel, the hotel displays so many interesting vintages as well as old books. It is understandable why it is only for adult. The room is very clean, secure, comfortable with suitable heater, coffee, tea are provided and nice view from window. It's only take 5 minutes walking from Interlaken Ost Train Station to reach hotel and the road to the hotel is very comfortable, flat, level and wide, which is also comfortable for dragging suitcases. All hotel peoples are fast response and helpful. It's recommended to stay without people under age of 16.

We had to leave hotel before breakfast time, so we ordered boxed breakfasts, but it came only in plastic bags. Breakfast boxes should be provided in more properly than just plastic bags to avoid a mess

The vibe of heritage and feels like in boutique , this vintage atmosphere makes me i don’t want to leave hotel . Really very high quiet and organized , they care with micro details to give an unforgettable vibe and experience. I LOVE IT

Location was fantastic as we were travelling by train across Switzerland and Austria. Very warm welcome on arrival and had a mini suite on the ground floor. All staff were amazing! Well done to Hotel Management

Location was very good

Vintage hotel -looking like I enter in museum, every thing was for the hotel but not for the customers, if you are sick and asking for thermometer,answer was go to coop and check , vintage hotel collected all items which you might be thrown some time in your life , but can not having basis first-add tools. In very cold season, breakfast was all cold and test-less. Even if you demand even for egg omelette, they have charged for this .

Clean room & good breakfast

I must say Fabian made us feel very welcome with every intereaction with him. I also need to thank the gentleman at the front desk who when we told him of our early departure ensured we got our breakfast package. The waiter, who got me lemon as I was having a cold, the waitress who made me chocolate tea, which was very delicious. There was also lady at the front desk who told us about the all year weather in details, great conversation. I was a bit dissappointed with the interaction when we departing, it felt rushed and cold, I did not even recall the front desk person saying, thanks for staying.

A charming old vintage but comfy hotel in a lovely location...

Location was very nice. The staff friendly & eager to please. Front office team and breakfast team were really eager to please & help as needed. Room had a mini fridge, comfy bathroom & good coffee facilities. Microwave downstairs was very useful as was the private dining room on the lobby level. We had a room with a balcony & good view...

Pillows choice could be given as we found generally all over Switzerland, the same kind of flat pillows. Hairdryer looks dated...room had a kinda slope which didn't feel too comfy. By & large these were lesser issues.

Location was very convenient next to interlaken ost station, breakfast and facilities were decent. Staff was friendly.

Our room had a weird smell, it could have been the wood. It dissipated once we opened the windows for some time. Room is also a but small, but its fine for short stays.

Pictures of rooms did not match what we got. The pictures show full kitchen but they lock the stove so you can’t cook and they have no microwave no napkins no dish towels and no dish soap. No cream for coffee and Lipton tea was choice of tea in room. Shower curtain was not the best and would prefer real doors instead of blowing shower curtain

Traumatic experience in their restaurant.

Location was convenient . Very comfortable. Front reception staff were very lovely and friendly .

At their restaurant, we encountered the rudest, most unpleasant male waiter we’ve ever met during our travels. I didn’t catch his name, but he was a short black haired, stocky man. When he took our order, I politely asked if I had ordered two of the same dish to confirm, and he reacted with surprising hostility. He snapped back angrily, insisting he understood English perfectly and ranted about it. Our group of four was stunned by his offensive response. Typically, a waiter repeats the order before leaving the table to ensure accuracy, but he didn’t, which prompted my polite question to clarify the order. The entire meal was deeply uncomfortable, as we felt like we were walking on eggshells to avoid further offending the waiter. He cleared our plates with food still on them without even asking if we were finished, despite the high price we paid! I have no intention of returning to this hotel and restaurant. That experience genuinely tainted our stay and felt quite traumatic.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great -- across the street from a park, the river, and the funicular, and close to the Ost train station. The breakfast was good and our room was comfortable. It's away from the heart of the town so was very quiet.

Wonderful short stay in Interlaken.

Beautifully presented hotel in a great location, very close to the railway station. Wonderful views of the mountains from our room. Very peaceful. A place to regenerate. Would have loved to stay longer.

Old fashioned charming hotel stay

Friendly staff, good location very near Interlaken Ost train station (3 min walk) although about 15 mins walk to other end of town where most shops and restaurants are. Nice breakfast. Room was very large and extremely clean with lovely views of the river.

Use of the wellness area was included in our room but it seemed to be a little awkward to ask if we could use it. If you are paying extra for wellness area access it probably should be a bit easier to use.

Not a good experience for the price I paid. In dubai if I paid so much I would have had a wonderful stay.

Nothing much other than they give you parking infront of the hotel for 15 euros which I suppose should be free specially when the prices are soooooo high. Hotel doesn’t deserve the room rate I paid. Wanted to stay for 3 days but left after the 1st night.

The room and bathroom was soooooo smelly as if someone had done something in the room and bathroom and left. Bathroom wasn’t clean and I had to clean the bathroom myself.
