Great stay

Hotel was perfect for our needs- family of 6 so we had 3 rooms. Great view from our rooms facing the mountain. Nice breakfast and we also did laundry while there. Location was good too- short walk to the train or into town.

Breathtaking view with friendly staff and cozy stay

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, facing directly the Eiger Mountain, and seeing the village houses covered by snow was like in a fairy tale place. The day of the check out we need to leave before the breakfast time, the owner is kind enough to prepare us some food pack the night before for us.

Don’t think just book it!

The view of Eiger was awe inspiring, especially over Christmas! The room was warm, the bed was comfortable and the staff were ever so friendly! I will definitely recommend here! It’s also a close walk to everything in Grindawald town centre

Great location, staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathroom door didn’t close, staff was not onsite during the afternoon to report it. Once we were able to report it they fixed it. It was also rather warm so we left window open but the street light came in so it was a bit loud and light. The breakfast was OK, not great. There was some yogurt, little bit of fruit and some lunchmeat and cheese.

Great views with a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. Great location just a short walk from town with parking spots made everything very easy. Staff were all lovely from front desk to the lady doing breakfast. Rooms are small but have everything you need.

I just liked the mountain view.

I want to point out some important points about the hotel and the accommodation. Upon arrival at 1:40, the reception was closed and there was no one there. Although we checked in via the online link, I expected to have the cards, but unfortunately we have to wait until the reception opens at 2:00. It is closed from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. I booked two rooms, one with a partial view and the other with a mountain view. At the reception, they gave me two cards and told me that tomorrow you will check out at 11:00 am and enter the new room at 12:00 pm. But tomorrow I was surprised by the refusal to enter at 12:00 am, and instead said you will enter at 2:00 pm from the man at the reception. His treatment was very bad and he was completely uncooperative, even though we were leaving with all our belongings, as if we were homeless, unfortunately. He did not pay any attention to us, closed the reception and left. So we went out with the bags to the car and went to wait until 2:00 pm. Even though the room was ready. Poor. I warn you from this man😪

Fabulous stay. Book it, you will love it!!

Everything. It was cosy and welcoming. Close to the bus stop for either skiing at Terminal or First so you didn’t need to carry your skis far. The bed was super comfortable. The room was really clean and had everything so needed. I even had a balcony. The staff were all so lovely. Breakfast was so good. Proper fresh orange juice. Proper fresh fruit salad not tinned fruit salad. Lovely rolls and bread. Lovely selection of meats cheeses and jams. It was a sup Bern breakfast. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This town was too overrun with tourists for my taste, taking away from my experience.

My room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, my window and door opened to the busy street so it was quite loud and sometimes with cigarette smoke. The amenities were nice. Breakfast was a nice selection but the coffee was weak.
