I would NOT recommend staying here. It was very expensive for what it was, far from food and attractions. Sauna is at

Everything was very old and there was mold on the bathroom door. The showers leaked and the faucet nob was broken. The sheets and bed were really uncomfortable. The carpet in the hallway was dirty from years of use. You can hear noise from everything while in your room. No place to relax outside the room, no restaurant other than the breakfast that is served.

Rooms are nice, breakfast had everything you would expect and view is also good. Location is close enough from the center of the village that you can walk (at least if you are not wearing ski shoes)

I was there for Eiger Ultra Trail which starts beyond the standard breakfast hours. The receptionist promised to pack a take-away breakfadt bag for me as he said they couldn’t serve us earlier. Next morning, there was no take-away bag for me and I found out that breakfast was served fir runners, but I didn’t have time as I was expecting a take-away bag.

Beautiful Location, but very very low standard

very limited choice

location of the hotel absolutely breathtaking. Standard and price of the hotel definately not worth a single *. Old hotel and poor cleaning, a lots of insects in the room, no ventilation,poor quality beds, and rest of the bed amenities. Receptionist stressed already from the booking start and pressurizing to check inn before 19:00 as he had to leave or there would be a penelty.

1. Annoying guests as they went out of the room on the back yard, they made loud noises until 12:00 AM and they were not alerted by the hotel staff to calm down. 2. When you want to reserve a parking for your car in front of the hotel which costs 10CHF per day, the hotel staff don’t give you a guarantee to keep your rented parking available while you are out, so that maybe when you come back and find your parking occupied by other guest who didn’t reserve and pay for it.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area. The view from the window is stunning. The host was very friendly. This is simply one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh.

This hotel is excellent for the price. Rooms are big and comfy, the hotel has incredible views. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best we have had in Europe!
