Beautiful location!

Very small shower and washroom.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It made our stay in Grindelwald even more pleasant.

We had a great stay and everything was exactly what we expected from a hostel. The rooms were clean, the facilities were well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well organized. Excellent value for money—we would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

The room was clean and pretty spacious, with a really nice view. It was nicely located at the edge of the town. The desk staff seemed nice enough.

The breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, overly boiled so far that it was like eating yellow chalk. This was a jam and Nutella kind of situation, not even dry scrambled eggs and old sad sausage. Two types of cheese, a cold cut, milk and the lowest type of cereal. This place is not unique. They are used to offer nothing and charge an arm and a leg, the Swiss way. No elevator, but no one would ask you if you'd like help of some sort. The hottest summer on record, 32-35 degrees, no AC (the Swiss way), but not even a fan offered. If you were a business owner, and you knew that people are staying at your small hotel in these temperature, wouldn't you go and buy a few $50 fans, so you can offer the customers? It doesn't even cross their minds. Thank god they have the breathtaking views and nature, otherwise no-one would think of paying Swiss prices for this level or service and accommodations.
