Overall a great option for a few days in Grindelwald.

Superb staff, food in Barry's and overall experience.

The room could do with a bit of a refreshment, it was a little tired.

Nice stay, great location

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to reserve parking in garage. Excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant on site. We had a beautiful view. Location is good for walking everywhere or catching public transportation.

Amazing location, surrounded by shops, restaurants and access to grindelwald first and the terminal to get to jungfraujoch. Such a beautiful location. The eiger facing mountain suite was incredible. Highly recommend this hotel. Barry’s restaurant was fab and breakfast was lovely

location: center of village. transport: complementary pickup/drop off to station. Breakfast good choices + afternoon tea Food: great quality, good chef Staff: All were friendly, helpful, quality service. Wellness: good equipment and sauna. Inhouse included extras like fitness classes.

Building a need some renovations (wear and tear). Bathroom glass door was functional, but wife did not like it due to noise when bumped and felt reduced privacy.

Great location, great gym, I would stay there again, but will be sure to pay for a better room.

The location was fantastic. The hotel was larger than I expecetd (larger than it appeared in online searches). As a result, there are several buildings, and my room was in one of rear facing buildings. Not a great view (facing a parking lot). Next time, I will pay to reserve one of the front-facing rooms.

I arrived early. I knew my room would not be ready yet. it was raining hard that day. I asked if I could sit in the street-facing restaurant and work on my laptop until my room was ready. I ordered food, and multiple cups of coffee. The young man that checked me in wouldn't let me continue to sit there, as he thought they might need that table for other restaurant guests (which they didn't as there were dozens of other empty tables).

Beautiful vistas and views from the suite rooms. Very modern suite design. Loved it.

Perfect location

Location was right in the heart of town. We were able to walk everywhere. Couple massage was very relaxing after a long day hiking. Balcony had great views.

Room was a little cramped for the price. Street noise was present, but we wanted to keep the balcony door open.

Extremely comfortable and relaxing stay!

The breakfast was delicious (especially the croissant), the room was spacious, the sauna was awesome and comfortable after a whole day of hiking, very near the tourist spots. We went to the restaurant in the hotel for dinner and the food was amazing!

The room is a bit dimly lit, and since the rooms are located in different buildings than the reception area, it gets a bit confusing, but there are quite a lot of signs everywhere.

Nice central stay with high price tag

The property is very central, easy to find and close to all attractions or a transportation to get there. Rooms are spacious, look nice and pretty comfortable and well equipped - the hotel insides look generally great. It looks deceptively small from pictures, but it's in fact a large hotel complex behind the small facade. Good restaurant on premises, good breakfast in the lobby, friendly staff. Refreshments in the room (soda, beer and few snacks) included in the price.

Online check-in and check-out didn't work - all links in messages were broken, and when I mentioned it in chat, I only received automated repeat of same broken messages, not personal response. They have parking, but no visual directions how to find it, and text directions were confusing so I ended up parking in the main village garage instead. The check-in desk is tiny and have no place to wait, so when there are few groups checking in it gets hectic. Breakfast is good, but coffee machines are confusing and sometimes don't work. Our room was in the main building on the busy street, and it was quite noisy during the night, both from outside and inside the hotel; they provide earplugs, but I don't find sleeping with earplugs comfortable. And Its plenty expensive - it's nice and cosy, but it's still way up the price range; I mean it's Grindelwald, but still.

Convenient location

Good location near transportation! Breakfast was delicious. Parking available for an additional fee. Spa was nice! Views from our room were fantastic.

Lots of flies in the dining area. Area around this was very touristy and busy. If you want a quieter experience would recommend going elsewhere.

Fab hotel

Fabulous location, nice atmosphere, very welcoming staff who were also very knowledgeable about the local area, sights, and transport. We would be very happy to stay again.

No labels on food for breakfast and not all staff knew what was in the different food. You had to ask if you wanted to know something about food or for a milk alternative. So you had to waste the staff time for things. It could be much better and more efficient. The gym is nice. The ceiling is low so although they have several pull up stations the handles are next to the ceiling so not useable.

Beautiful rooms and views!

Room was beautifully appointed. An added bonus was the replenishing the mini-bar in the room. Location was great, view from our room was superb!

Breakfast was initially somewhat confusing, as layout seemed odd. We were asked of dietary preferences, however there was only pork available with the meat selection.

Friendliest hotel in the cutest little village

The best hotel we stayed at in our entire Europe trip!! All the staff were so so lovely: so much so that they were the nicest staff/worker interactions we had in our entire trip as well! The rooms and facilities were great and the actual hotel was in a really good spot in town so everything was super walkable. We had dinner at their restaurant which was also sooo yummy. We recommend Eiger Mountain and Soul Resort to anyone and everyone that will listen!!

The room was exceptional. The food was good and the location was terrific. The parking lot is excellent, and there are charging spots for EVs.

Conveniently located, with an excellent breakfast

The hotel is located right in the center of the village, on the main road, and just a five-minute walk from the train station, very convenient if you're arriving with large bags. The included breakfast was exceptional, the rooms were quiet, and the staff was very kind. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was clean. The restaurant is very pleasant as well, especially if you're looking for a fondue.

The hotel is a bit expensive for what it offers (though this seems more related to Switzerland in general than to the hotel itself). The room’s decor and amenities are a bit dated — more early 2000s style — and the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together.

The spa facilites were exceptional and extremly nice. We used them a lot for recovery and relaxation. The staff and service is outstanding as well. Highly recommend, we would certainly consider this hotel when coming back to Grindelwald.

Wonderful location and good amenities

Location is fantastic, our mountain view room overlooks 3 major peaks in grindelwald. The room comes with a filled mini bar with water beer and juice that is refilled daily, a great addition to the room. The facilities in the room felt very new and the cabin details made it feel very cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the free breakfast quality was great for hotel breakfast buffet that never ran out of food.

The only downside is that the bed got very warm throughout the evening, and there’s no air circulation in the room unless you open the balcony door

Wonderful hotel

Everything was great: the amenities, cleanliness, comfort, reception, location, but I advise you not to book through Booking.com because there has been a breach in their site. I was contacted through their app about the necessity to pay for the hotel immediately or my reservation in this wonderful hotel would be canceled. The amount was deducted twice, and when I contacted the hotel, they confirmed that they cannot withdraw the amount from us and that Booking.com is the intermediary who can do that. I informed Booking.com and submitted the necessary documents, but they have not refunded the amount yet, and it is clear that they do not intend to.
