Lovely stay and centrally located.

Situated in town and had a lift which was perfect as travelling with my elderly mother. Spacious, comfort room and good selection for breakfast.

A very minor point, but if you are wanting a room specially for the view, although my room did have a wonderful view, I have stayed elsewhere with uninterrupted views, but its a 10 mins walk out, which wasn’t an option when travelling with an elderly parent. But still lovely.

A TRUE GEM IN A WORLD OF TRAVELS.

I can not in just a few brief words state just how wonderful our stay was at the hotel kreuz & post. From the moment we stepped of the train. Hotel was just feet away. From the first hello with the front desk staff. Such a wonderful, warm, welcomming , kind, just can not discribe in words how amazing the staff at this hotel are to there cuatomers. The gentelmen that checked us in. Got us booked for dinner reservations immediatly. Rooms and space were very comfortable. And then the resturant and head chef Simone! In all my years of travels i have never met a more welcoming. Service driven individuial like the hotels head chef. We had 3 nights of just amazing dinner services and prefection.driven by simone. Can not understate the amount of time this man invest in making sure all his cuatomers walk away happy and amazed by his work. Just absolutly bravo and my hats off to head chef simone! Thank u so much for you kindness and care in your craft.

Exceptional for so many reasons. Would stay again!

Wonderful experience! The breakfast they supply was amazing, compliments to the chefs making us very happy every morning! The location was incredible, the view of the mountains from the room and the rooftop was exceptional. The train station is directly across the road and you never hear the trains - it’s silent! The supermarket is literally a one minute walk. The wellness spa (adults only) is a special place and very relaxing. Every single staff member says hello, very welcoming and felt homely. It was super easy navigating to Jungfrau which was a whole different world! Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Top of the Alps

The location..stepping off the train and having a wow moment being so close to the alps we then saw our hotel directly in front of us. Also excellent for transport to Jungfrau which was just across the road. Also supermarket 2 mins away. Unaware hotel has multiple saunas for guests, room was spacious as is bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant on groud floor with outside area to amazing views. Breakfast had variety, staff attentive.

False advertisement which made it very disappointing. The reason I booked this hotel which was a lot more expensive than others in the area is because they advertised air conditioner in the rooms. This was not the case. There was no A/C available.

Clean and comfy hotel to enjoy holiday!

The reception is lovely - they are friendly, helpful when you have any questions about the surroundings. Our rooms are clean and tidy, no dust or stain, even the kettle is clean! The breakfast includes huge variety of choices, like cheese, salad, rice, miso soup, eggs, sausages, etc. So a big shout-out to all staff who work in this hotel. They’re doing excellent! The location is perfect, literally just cross the road of the train station, 3-min walk to the Coop and other shops. Unbeatable. Planning to visit Grindelwald with my partner next year, and we definitely would love to stay here again :)

Excellent hotel in prime location

Loved everything! Steps from the train station but still quiet. In between and easy walk to both First gondola and Eiger Express for Jungfrau. Restaurant manager, Simone (male) really made us feel special. Loved breakfast so much!! Restaurant dinner was also very good. Our balcony was big with gorgeous mountain views. We didn't utilize the spa facilities but checked it out on last day and wished we had; super clean and lots of options!

Perfect Base in Grindelwald with Incredible Eiger Views

We stayed two nights at Hotel Kreuz & Post in Grindelwald and had a truly memorable experience. The location is unbeatable — directly in front of the train station, which made arrival and day trips incredibly easy. The Coop grocery store was just steps away, and the bus terminal being right outside added convenience, though it did make the area feel a bit livelier. We booked an Eiger view room, and the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that iconic peak felt surreal. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the hotel has a slightly old-fashioned feel, the exceptional service more than made up for it. A true highlight of our stay was dining at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was outstanding — so much so that we ended up having dinner there both nights. Simone, our waiter, made both evenings unforgettable with his personal touches, warm hospitality, and fantastic sense of humor. He truly elevated the experience and made us feel so welcome. This hotel offers a great combination of location, comfort, and genuine Swiss hospitality. We would absolutely love to return.

Nice stop at end of trip to Switzerland

Welcoming member of staff at reception who explained everything and showed us to the place where we could unload the car. Large room with lovely modern bathroom. The hotel was in an ideal location for us wanting to explore the region by car, with a suitable car park to use too.

Unfortunately hot food items at breakfast buffet ran out quickly, but otherwise there was a good range of things available. The car park is rather awkward to get to, up a very steep and narrow road, but there are spaces at the back of the hotel where you can unload luggage.

The location was perfect just right in front of the train station. Also there’s a restaurant beside the hotel and the supermarket Coop was very near the hotel. The view was spectacular and the breakfast was very delicious .They also have sauna which it’s another plus for.
