Impressive!

This is clearly a family run hotel with the kind heart for customer as a friend with family in mind (and heart). The hotel culture brings the warmth in Christmas. An example is the hotel organized a Christmas eve event for the kids. Instead of just getting "presents", the hotel asked and try to know more about each kid, so the presents are tailored to the gender and age. The attention to details is impressive. As we checked out, the reception notice we will be travelling thus immediately offered drinking water and apples to keep our next journey comfortable. Rarely I have such experience.

If you are one that is looking at shops and restaurants besides the stay, there is a walk (around 5 to 10 minutes) towards the train station before shops and restaurants appears. It is also unfortunate the Michelin Starred restaurant is closed for winter. Truly like to enjoy a meal there.

The Belvedere was superb and somewhere I would stay again.

The motel is perfectly situated in Grindelwald to access everything The motel feels like it’s had a recent renovation. Everything was so clean and kept. The small details was what I noticed most. The staff on greeting and departure were exceptional

Great Hotel in Paradise location

Its even difficult to describe the view from the room because its like you are in Paradise and the view from the room its amazing like in moves . Local staff very gently and supportive , Breakfast excellent and very high quality and the people in the restaurant very supportive , of course room very big with all necessary accessories. very good service and great swimming pool , spa and sauna , Parking was free and close hotel and hotel location great as well

A wonderful hotel in grindewald

The views of the valley, allied with the comfort of the hotel; the capacity of rooms for families with 3 kids; pool and kids area are also very good. Breakfast is also very good.

Disappointing stay for our honeymoon

Location

I booked this hotel half a year in advance because we wanted a specific view for our honeymoon. I asked at the time of booking whether it would be possible to request a higher floor. Upon arrival we were given the lowest floor possible for our deluxe room and a tree was directly blocking our dream view. The staff did not make any effort to accommodate our request before or during our stay. The noise and smoking from the guests directly below our balcony was also unpleasant.

Solid property that delivers on its promises and good base location to explore the surroundings.

Solid property recently renovated, our room was spacious, comfortable, cosy and clean with a great view. Check-in and check-out was efficient. Complimentary soft drinks available in the minibar. Comfortable bedding and quiet rooms despite the main road car traffic passing by downstairs. Free parking available on premises.

We woke up late and couldn't have any F&B served in the restaurant between 11:00 and 12:00pm, at least a minimum of dishes should be made available 24/7. No Nespresso machine in the rooms but soluble coffee instead is a bit of a miss, too.

Wonderful location near terminals to catch trains n cables. I especially love the amazing view of the mountains from my room. It was a million dollar view!

Almost everything,specially the location of the hotel,near to train and bus station.From day one we felt welcome and all the staff were very helpful and I couldn't praise them high enough. A special thanks for Roxanne Otti who was very helpful and understanding to our needs. She did all she could to make our stay memorable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who want to visit Grindelwald.
