a unique hotel experience
the apartment was definitely unique as it’s situated right on the bridge so the location is obviously undeniable. it was clean and very nicely decorated.
not the most comfortable as the AC did not work very well and it was rather hot and we were advised to not open the windows downstairs. it was also a bit stressful with all the tourists constantly looking through the windows and having to make sure that the door was locked so no random people would come in. I’d also recommend another safety lock on the door such as a latch to add that extra peace of mind since it’s such a busy location. the unit was also very very expensive and for the cost, I would have wanted to feel more secure and more comfortable

Great location as a nice unique bridge apartment. Great for a couple staying upstairs with AC.
The place is super neat as its literally part of the bridge crossing the river. Everything has been remodeled and looks great. The location is great. Overlooking the bears and the river is great.
The location is so good tourists were trying to get in the room as they passed over the bridge. The downstairs has no AC and with cool nights shouldn't be a problem but with no screens the windows had to be closed to prevent any insects, animals or persistent revelers from coming in and therefore was definitely uncomfortable.

Amazing- it was better than the stay at the prestigious 5* Hotel Bellevue Palace Bern!
The hotel was so comfy that it felt like home away from home! The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!
Everything was perfect, but for minor additions, I would recommend to management to consider the following:
-Adding a full sized mirror, potentially inside the closet door in the bedroom; Install slightly larger-sized bins in the bathrooms (the small ones sometimes topple over when the pedal is pressed because of the size); Switching the liquid hand soaps for bar soaps; consider including an option to order cooked eggs/ fresh pressed juice for breakfast from the restaurant.

Exceptional
This property was unique and different. All amenities were specific to the area including all mini bar items. Breakfast was great, delivered in the morning so no need to leave the room. My son had his own room with a bath on the bottom floor so there was lots of space. The bears outside were amazing to watch.
This property is directly on the entrance bridge to Bern and there are lots of people walking around at all hours, right in front of the door to your apartment. It was very noisy at night with vehicle and people noise, no insulation. Finding parking was difficult. I recommend you park on the bridge and speak with the reception person first so she can direct you where to park. Overall it was an amazing experience regardless of these minor issues

The apartment was beautiful and looks out over the bear pit.
It was noisy, being on a busy street, and I could not get the water in the downstairs shower to work.
My travelling companions remarked that there was no comfortable place to sit, such as a sofa, and we ended up at the kitchen table until it was time for bed.

Berne est une magnifique ville qu'il faut absolument visiter
lieu magique très bien entretenu, une très belle rénovation d'un ancien poste de douane.
Terrasse privée agréable, vue directe sur la fosse aux ours. Tout simplement merveilleux.
Voyage avec un enfant de 7 ans qui a également apprécié le site.
Le seul bémol est le manque de plaque de cuisson à la cuisine qui aurait permis de faire à manger. Pour un voyage court pas de problème mais pour un séjour plus long cela peut être problématique.
