Great hotel outside of city centre

Very friendly staff, super clean room. It's right by a tram stop, about 15 minutes ride from the centre of Bern, Perfect location for my business meeting.

The bed was too firm for my taste but i recognise that this is a personal preference.

Excellent Hot Breakfast Buffet

A great location near public transportation. Large rooms with fans and ear plugs. Friendly bilingual staff, German, French and English. Excellent hot breakfast buffet.

Can be noisy with windows open as the hotel is next to the bus and tram stop. Use the ear plugs.

A great hotel with very helpful staff

We parked outside and walked around to locate the entrance. The check-in was simple and swift, and the room was great - shutters for overnight to keep out the light and curtains for privacy in the mornings. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful. All of the anticipated facilities were provided (coffee machine but no coffee, though!) but apart from that, all we could want from a hotel.

The underground car park was a little tight getting into and out of (mind your wheels on exit!) and the spaces once in were small, however it was secure and clean and well ventilated, so did what was asked of it!

Very nice hotel

The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, and most of the staff were nice. I also appreciated the free transport in Bern—and the coffee was very good too. :)

The lady at the reception seemed a bit lost. On the last day, when we wanted to pay for breakfast, she initially told us that the payment hadn’t been made in full and that we still owed for three more nights—despite the fact that I had already paid the full amount through Booking. I showed her the confirmation, and she realized the payment had indeed been completed. I found her to be unprepared and overwhelmed on more than one occasion, even when we were asking for simple things. Also, I think some of the staff could benefit from improving their English skills

Not as per the chintzy photograph on Booking.com which are misleading. I was expecting to be in a chalet style hotel but my room was in the concrete annexe . The sockets were terrible and had great difficulty getting an English adapter into any of them

Overpriced and Characterless

Underground car park was convenient.

Food was very average and overpriced. No proper bar or indoor public seating area. Room was average, nothing special. Was provided with one small bottle of water for a four-day stay, which was rich considering the price of the room. Accessing WiFi was ludicrously convoluted. Location bore little resemblance to the virtual rural hotel photos on the site. Basically, it's little more than a characterless business hotel. And hugely overpriced.

Excellent value for money at a great location!

Everything was really cozy and clean. Very well equipped room with many handy appliances and cutlery. Staff was really friendly too (we could easily borrow the socket adapter)! Very nice bonus is the public transport card that the hotel gives access to via an app (bus ride to the center of Bern was just 12 mins). Also, you won’t regret an evening walk through Muri itself. Supermarket is there just around the corner too.

Be careful with the narrow parking!

The beds were moving when we were trying to sit up with our backs leaning on the bed head, which prevented that type of relaxation.

Nice hotel, conviniently located near public transport with parking option available. They also have a good in-house restaurant. We asked for a baby crib and this was waiting for us, ready for use, in the room. Excellent service overall.

it’s a well-run hotel with a history, but I would definitely not recommend

a historic building with a nice restaurant, located conveniently close to public transport

it’s incredibly noisy. I couldn’t sleep. there is no a/c, but if you open windows, it’s too much noise. And the thing is they know perfectly! they even put earplugs in the room. can you believe it? sleeping in a 4-star hotel with earplugs? But most importantly - when I asked the reception to change the room for a quieter one, they offered to do so for an additional charge. Common, people… It’s not like I asked for a seaview….
