Its not exactly in the main city center but only 5-10 mins by tram or bus from there. Its a nice hotel- self check-in, common area with games, for relaxing and kitchen, free terrace access with cosy seating areas or for a candle light dinner.

It’s bit small with kid but it’s fine . Everything is perfect and it’s located at Bern wankdroof station and very good connectivity from Bern with 3 min from train

Rating: 2.5/5 Stars If you are looking for a spacious, well-equipped room and don't mind a lack of traditional hotel service, this place has potential. However, my experience was marred by a deeply frustrating self-check-in process that overshadowed the quality of the room itself. The Room (10/10): The accommodation is excellent. It feels more like a private, fully-furnished studio apartment than a standard hotel room. It comes equipped with a functional kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space, various utensils, and a comfortable study table. The room is incredibly spacious—a rare find that I truly appreciated. Location & Environment (6.5/10): The location is manageable; it is just a few stops away from the central station, so accessibility is fine. However, the immediate surroundings are quite dull. It feels more like an industrial zone than a vibrant part of Bern. Beyond a few restaurants and a Coop supermarket, there is very little to enjoy or explore nearby. The Experience (The "Why I won't return"): My biggest issue, and the reason I would not choose this hotel again, is the restrictive self-check-in/out system. Upon arrival, I encountered a staff member who appeared to be a part-timer and was unable to assist with operational issues. The hotel requires the Swiss city tax (approx. CHF 11.40) to be paid upon arrival. Unfortunately, my primary credit card was not accepted by their terminal. The system then directs you to a link to input your card details online. For security reasons, I was uncomfortable entering my card information into a third-party link for such a small amount, especially when I had already paid for the room in full. Because they do not accept cash and the on-site staff had no authority or ability to bypass the system, I was locked out of my room for two hours while trying to resolve a trivial payment issue. After a long day of travel, being unable to access my room because of an inflexible digital payment wall was an incredibly frustrating experience. Verdict: To be fair, the room itself is high-quality and very acceptable. However, the lack of human support and the rigid, automated check-in process make this a poor choice if you have any issues with your payment method. If you arrive late in the evening and encounter a similar snag, you will find yourself in a very problematic situation. If you are certain your cards will work perfectly and you don’t mind a total lack of reception staff, you might have a smoother stay than I did—but I won't be returning.
