It was an "okay" stay, but I will not recommend it to friends or family.

The location. It was only one short tram trip from the city center.

- The bathroom was quite small. Everything is so packed in there. There is only one hanger on the bathroom door. Which is quite annoying as you usually need to hang your clothes and towel. But there is no space to do so. - We booked a triple room. And the third bed, which is an extra bed, is so uncomfortable. It was an old and thin mattress. - The room it self was also quite small for a triple room. - The room key is still a manual one. - The room temperature was too warm for us. We asked if it can be readjusted, but the receptionist said that the minimum temperature is something that they have preset, so it cannot be readjusted.

Pleasant staff, average hotel for high price

The location was good for us in a quiet area outside of Bern but still connected with public transit. The staff was extremely friendly.

The rooms are tight for a family (3 people), the pillows are very soft, the cot for the child was so uncomfortable that she refused to sleep there. The room heating kept going to full blast, heating the room to 27C. We could turn it off and left the window open.

The bed is nice, and the view was good from our floor (7th). There is a small spa with a pool and sauna. The breakfast has several options and it was good. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

The room was small for 3 people. The pool was too cold, specially considering that it was a spa in theory.

Not good enough for a 4-star hotel, there are better options.

Fast check-in, parking spot included and a straight elevator to the garage. Room with a nice view of the city. Gentleman at the reception was very helpful and welcoming. Quiet area of Bern and a sauna that stays open until 11pm.

Bathroom was just an open glass cabin, relatively small rooms and the worst part was the constant hassle to get acces to the garage and the fitness/sauna area, needing to ring the bell with a giant camera to get someone to open the door. It felt more like a prison. Very outdated TV with no streaming and most channels didn’t work.

OK for what we were looking for but nothing to write to home about

Quality of the room and bed. Coffee maker appreciated even if the cable was short. Good quality breakfast, supplied to the very end of the breakfast slot

The view was obscured by automated blinds that could not be operated from the room. The ramp of the access to the lower floor in the garage is very tight. We asked for a 2 pm check-out holding a genius level 3 status, but as this carried a surcharge of 2xCHF 25, we declined. The confirmation stated bathrobes and slippers, but these items we never found.

Very close to the city Center 7min by Tram.

Poor quality beds and mattresses and room too small for 3 people. The pool water was so cold that my son caught a flu. We will come back to the city but for shore no more this Hotel called 4 stars……

Lovely hotel with free parking

We were upgraded for free by Marco and got a room at the top floor with fantastic view over the whole town. There was also a free parking with a charger for EV, which was great.

We purchased two breakfasts for 17.- chf and before paying we asked whether it was only cold breakfast or it had continental hot options (eggs, sausage, etc.). We were assured that breakfast includes hot dishes. However, when we came down at 7:30 for breakfast, there was a large group of tourists and all dishes for hot meals (eggs, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms) were empty. When we asked the staff to bring out some more, the young lady appeared stressed and unhappy (not apologetic at all) saying that it will take time. It was rather unfortunate… we couldn’t wait due to the appointment we had, so we had to leave… it would’ve been nice of the restaurant was ready to serve for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

A great, cost-efficient and high-quality hotel to stay at in bern.

The staff were extremely accommodating and kind. We decided to visit Switzerland on a whim as we were traveling from Paris to Rome to visit some filming locations for the KDrama 'Crash Landing on You' and the concierge at the hotel helped us tremendously in figuring out how to get around the Country last minute.

The spa/pool/fitness room is tucked away on a small floor and is a bit of a hassle to find/get to. Also, don't be too surprised at how expensive everything is inside the country. Lastly, the on-boarding/set-up in order to get the complimentary tram pass for Bern was not clearly stated and we needed to ask about it via phone.

1. the hotel provides many free private parking lots. 2. free travel pass (public transport) around Bern city. hence, easy to go around. 3. the tram station just next to the hotel. no need to walk far!

I strongly NOT recommend this hotel, especially for families with kids

I can appreciate only the location of the hotel, unfortunatly.

The hotel did not reflect the comfort of a 4 * Hotel, neither 3* I would say. We had a very unplaisant stay at the Ambassador. First, the room reserved on booking platform did not reflect the reality on site. We reserved a room with bathtube and we've recieved a room with shower, that other the fact that it didn't worded properly it also didn't had any door. The toilet was separated in 0.5 m2. Also, the staff was not opened the resolve any of the issue presented. There was also very cold in the room with no possibility to raise the temperature of the heating system, maximum 20 degrees (we've traveled in early December with kids) so we had to go to sleep with extra sweters on.
