A practical place to stay but not a restful place. Location makes it worth it if you are using the station in Bern frequ

Proximity to the train station was awesome!

This location was super central. Less than a block away from the main train station in Bern. Access to the bus system was super easy and close.

No lobby or area where our family could gather together for games.

DUMP - stay anywhere but here…

Nothing whatsoever.

It reminded me of walking into the housing projects in a large city. The interior of the room was marred by splotches of paint scuffs and missing paint. The design is ugly. The place is a very expensive dump.

No AC

The hotel staff was very gentle and there have been no misunderstanding with the booking

There was no AC, and it was very hot. We needed to keep the windows open, and near the train station, it was very loud til 1.30am.

Dated, no ac, and hot. Beds and pillows not very comfortable. Construction work started at 6:30am in units near by waking everyone.

Run down and not inviting at all , staff was not friendly , hot and noisy , our room didn’t have the # on the wall beside the door , keys were big and bulky and you had to give them to the front desk when you left and pick them up when you returned … find somewhere else to stay

It was clean, confortable and with a good location. Staff Abel was very welcoming.

There was lack of plugs to charge phone (etc), and from the 3 available ones 2 were not working properly. Only good one was in the bathroom area. Also not fan of the carpet.

Modern but still a classic!

Loved the property location, its right in front of the Bern train station, very well connected. All amenities were provided and the room was spacious. The folks at the reception were also very well behaved! Loved the stay :)

Good place to stay if you are travelling about and close to everything in the Altstadt.

Perfect location. I liked having a physical ie not electronic key. Good to have 24hr staffed reception. Very quiet room at the back of the hotel. The balcony was a bonus.

The decor needs refreshed (peeling paint). There was an odour in the corridors. The step from the balcony back into the room is high and could cause a fall.

Very good hotel, not luxurious but very comfortable, clean, functional, with good service and perfect location. A parking space right in front of the hotel for drop off and pickup of luggage (max 15 min)

We stayed for the value and I think we got what we paid for.

Great location near train station and walkable to the parts of town we wanted to see. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Mini fridge.

Doorknob to our room was broken - almost falling off. The outlet also didn’t work by the bed and the other outlet in the room was on a switch so you couldn’t charge your phone unless the hall light was on. We had to charge phones in the bathroom. Hotel smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. There is no AC and no fans. The room we had at the back didn’t get any cross breeze because it was surrounded by buildings so it remained very warm. Our room in the front of the building (we had two rooms) cooled off easily but it was right on the street and there was incredible street noise. So you had to sleep with the windows closed.

Nice sized room with a good location, especially if you have to take an early train. Flexible personal that keeps your luggage while waiting for check in.

It's very good location, very close to Bern central station. There are many store in train station. many favorite restaurant were around the hotel. The staff is kind and smart.

Great location within walking of parking garage and city attractions and restaurants. Beds and linens were comfortable.

Bathroom is "tired", tile grout is stained. No in-room coffee was provided, only tea. No wash-clothes were provided, only hand and bath sized towels. Needed to open windows to be comfortable, but street noise did not calm until after midnight.

Nice stay in Bern at the City am Bahnhof.

The location is good, very near the train and bus station. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room is wide enough to accommodate 3 persons. A kettle, hair dryer are provided in the room. As well as ticket for public transportation.

The hotel should provide more bathroom utilities such as shower cap, more shelves in the bath room.

Main draw is the location

Good location, slightly under 10 min walk from the train station and very near the main tourist street. Check in staff were friendly and helpful.

Room felt a little outdated and the mattresses were thin. Place gets a little noisy as the soundproofing isn’t good.
