Plane, lots of light, good location for the railway station and historic city centre.
Our room was at the front of the hotel adjacent to the road. As a result, we were woken at 06:30h by the noise of recycling lorries collecting from nearby restaurants. You had to go to a tea/coffee station on a different floor if you wanted hot drinks, because there were no facilities in the rooms.

Location is very central but there is also plenty of choice in the centre of Bern for frequent business travellers.
Breakfast was average and the room was basic
