Great hotel in a great location

Good location for the city and only 5 mins walk from car park. Did not use the bar or restaurant but they looked very pleasant. Clean, spacious and modern room with lots of storage space. Nice lighting options, fridge, bath robes & slippers. Large window for plenty of light, but also very good blackout curtains. Most importantly for me, it was lovely and quiet. Friendly reception staff.

Only a little minor, but I don't think the bathroom had an extractor fan - so it got quite steamed up after use.

Amazing location + standout rooftop fondue, but very small room.

We stayed here as a couple and the location is unbeatable — everything in Bern feels walkable and convenient. The hotel was clean and well-run, and the staff were friendly. A special highlight was the Fondue Chalet on the rooftop: the food was excellent, and our server Christian was genuinely a delight — warm, attentive, and really accommodating. It ended up being one of our favourite parts of the stay.

The room was very small for two people, especially once we had our luggage open. Fine for a short stay, but tight if you’re traveling as a couple.

Bed and pillows are so comfy. The space of the room is ok for 2 persons. Location wise is also fine. Thanks!

Our floor trap in our shower room was not ok, there’s water pooling. We have reported to receptionist, they sent someone to repair while we were away, but when we were back to our room, sadly the floor trap is still not ok.

We enjoyed staying in Bern for our last night in Switzerland.

The location was great being in the middle of Bern historic district. Right by the coop for breakfast. The staff was very helpful.

It was very confusing with all of the busses and trolleys. Once we realized how they worked with the letters for the correct trolley it was great. Maybe information on the trolley / bus routes would help. The property itself was good.

The central location was a big positive. Breakfast the first day was not up to standard but our waitress did all she could to accommodate our requests.

no parking or valet service at hotel; had to park far away with luggage and pay; difficult to get to hotel; no bel service; streets are crowded and cars are limited in that area; would have preferred to stay outside City and bus in; staff kept changing our room price and did not include breakfast in our price (raised the price and didn't give us breakfast; stated the price changed based on availability and they were full; so the price would be lower the next week and would have included breakfast

Great room! Great location! We were met with welcome chocolates (always a fan fave!). Loved our little balcony that looked over some rooftops. Breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. Our favorite part was the rooftop bar, that we frequented each evening. Lovely view of the city and delicious drinks!

Excellent value for money, big rooms and walking distance to pretty much everything

I loved the location, right in the center, walking distance from the train station, close to all attractions and across the best Fondue place ever! The property was renovated so you have very modern accommodation in a very old building. The size of the room was generous and the Nespresso placed in the room made my day! They also have lovely smelling Rituals cosmetics

Excellent hotel - very centrally located and very comfortable.

The location of the Best Western hotel is outstanding - right in the centre of the old town, very close - walking distance to key attractions, well connected with the public transport. The room was very clean, quiet, with in-room facilities for coffee/tea and overall very comfortable; the bathroom was modern with excellent walk-in shower. The Wi-Fi works well which is important too.

Clean. Spacious.

Spacious room and spacious bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Historic building in city centre.

Windows facing small inner courtyard and another room. Had to pull curtains. We didn't get breakfast because it is too expensive. We chose an Italian cafe instead. Rooftop bar was closed on Sunday.
