Modern hotel at a good location, but some unfriendly staff

The location is great! Walking distance of all sights, close to lovely coffee spots and restaurants.

The receptionist was rude and not customer-centric at all. We had an issue with our payment, and she was not helpful.

Got good sleep and good breakfast, really enjoyed the stay

The room is very quiet,, no noises could be heard.The breakfast is good with many choices.No 10 bus station (two or three stops from central train station ) is 100 meters from hotel , the bus ride is free, very quick to reach the city center. Coffee and tea is free for the guests.Room space is enough.The bed is comfortable.

A short city bus ride from the train station. It’s close to a great little pizza restaurant. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel supplied free access to city transportation.

The lady at the reception was very friendly The breakfast was good. The room was small but clean. The location was close to the train station. And the bus pass was very much appreciated. And the bus pass was very much appreciated.

Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Room a bit small and quirky. Free tea and coffee in the breakfast area all day.

Didn’t like the toilet and shower being separate rooms. Strange sliding door arrangement that shut the shower access off or the toilet access, but not both. Needs separate doors.

A truly enjoyable stay

Great stay! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Everything was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the facilities were really nice. The location is perfect. A pleasant surprise was the option to rent a high-quality umbrella for just €3.00 a day, definitely a handy addition!

The pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the room felt a bit small. I also missed the freshly squeezed orange juice that many other Ibis hotels usually offer at breakfast. Additionally, the car parking was quite expensive. That said, the overall experience was very good and I still enjoyed my stay.

The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy at times but great. The location was excellent, and luckily there was a parking space available for our stay. Great spot for a city break.

A good affordable choice for a night

Hotel is situated around 12-15 minutes from the old town. We stayed for a night so for the purpose of it, it was wonderful. Also, the breakfast offered was satisfying, access to fresh drinking water all the time. The reception guy was a real professional. At the time of the visit, hotel was offering a 24-h free rides with Bern city transportation, so distances were not a big for us. Bed was pretty comfortable.

Good for a short stay for work

Very close to the hospital in case you are there for work. The breakfast is really good and included in the prize of the bedroom. The booking also include a Bern Day Travel Pass, which is very useful if want to visit the city center or move a bot around the city.

The bedroom is very small and the position of the desk makes impossible to use it (there is no space between the desk and the bed to place a chair).

Good stay for a a couple of days. Close to the historic Bern.

Breakfast was very good and varied. The place was kept very clean. Location was reachable by bus or tram from the train station. We did not rent a car; used public transportation instead. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very small and equipped in a spartan mode. Shelf space is kept at a minimum.

Recommend for single or a couple for short stay

Location is great. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast buffet for international travellers. Good space in the common areas to sit and relax. Nearby a lot of restaurants. Room for iron by urself .

The rooms are really small and have bare minimum furniture. I guess that’s there way of defining style. AC was not working properly.
