Wonderful

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area yet well connected to the city. Very clean and they offer a good continental breakfast enough for everyone. I had medication that needed a fridge and found a shared fridge for our floor which had only two rooms. That was very convenient. I would not hesitate to come again in my next visit.

Nice hotel but was greeted harshly and rudely for arriving at 10:20 pm without prior notice.

Faculties were good and clean. Simple but good breakfast.

I arrived late (10:20 pm) after a long day of meetings and had not seen the request to inform the hotel if arriving after 7 pm. Upon arriving I rang the night bell and was « greeted » with an angry screaming man who shouted at me for daring to arrive so late and didn’t I know better than to arrive late a hotel. He finally practically threw the key card at me with a huff. Not exactly the friendliest greeting that a paying customer has ever received. Quite shocking actually. And really a shame because the hotel itself was nice The morning staff were very pleasant however.

Everything about this hotel was what we were looking for. Great location; walking distance to the old town but a local cute quiet neighborhood. Wonderful staff. Andreas was very helpful with the suggestion and the check in process was quite smooth. I had booked the hotel based on online reviews and later learned that the hotel was highlighted by Rick Steve in his travel book; a source that I whole heartedly trust. The breakfast also had good options.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Bern, about 15-20 minutes from the old town. They provide a free card that can be used for public transportation The hotel staff was invaluable, they provided free parking and their breakfast is magnificent.

The complimentary breakfast and parking were a valued addition. We also enjoyed using the free public transportation pass.

We would have loved to have more pillows in the room, but I'm sure if we asked they would have gladly provided them.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood with great access to the tram and delicious breakfast.

Great location in a nice neighborhood across from a park with close access to the tram that made travel around town easy. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices and accommodated my celiac disease with gluten free options. Amazingly sweet tomatoes!! Room was very quiet which was very important due to windows needing to stay open all night with the warm weather. Also had a fan which helped. Enjoyed sitting on the front patio. Staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended a great walk to start our explorations of Bern.

More powerful hair dryer that stays on without having to hold the "on" button. I talked to one of the staff at the front desk and he said they are already updating the hair dryers so that won't be a problem soon. Otherwise nothing!

The hotel was very clean and bright in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

The breakfast was fantastic! Fresh fruit, pastries, and cheeses. The freshly baked bread was delicious! There were a lot of options for vegetarians. The location was very pretty and quiet while still being very close to the old town. The beds were extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio area where we were able to eat dinner and relax.

Fab location. Only 10 min walk from old town in a lovely suburban safe area. Fab cafes nearby and if you couldn't walk close to tram stop. Lovely breakfast Slow pace... Took dogs to local park and everyone stopped to chat. So friendly

All great here - I love this hotel. A 20 minute walk from the old town or just a 7 minute tram ride, a great peaceful place to base your stay in Bern. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made some great suggestions.

Arriving after 20:00 was a problem. But the reception waited for us. Bad pillows, too soft and too big. Small selection for breakfast. No vegetables/salad/greenery. No fridge in the room.

The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh continental. Beds were comfy. Free parking all day while site seeing. Great location! Will be staying here again in 2 weeks.
