Good location for the expo

Location is good, and the staff is friendly.

The towels smelled a bit weird, but looked clean. What was a bit of a pity is that the room faced the tram tracks that made a lot of noise all night, as the room temperature was so hot, without being able to change it, you had to sleep with the window open, sadly accepting the noise.

Enjoyed staying at Ibis Bern Expo and will definitely recommend it with family and friends when they visit Bern.

The place is near a tram (BernMobile) going into the city central. Quiet community and accessible to transport. We appreciate the free city transport fare during our stay in Ibis Expo Bern.

Staff were patient and easy to communicate with. Clean. We like the communal place at Level 1 where we ate and chat with my family of our trip.

Expo visit

Location, near to everything. SUPERB with complimentary swisspass for the duration of my stay busses/trams/trains everywhere I needed to go. The beds in my room was lill to hard to give excellent sleep. Quiet floor, 9th with a stellar view. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. Great service from the staff with recommendations.

best personal I experienced in an hotel.

I woke up at 3am because of an very important meeting and I was stressed out., the manager comforted me with a coffee/croissant and we had a relaxing conversation. (meeting went very well after) life saviour also everyone else were very pleasant to work with

Thought the location was going to be an issue but the public transport in Bern is excellent. Staff were handy both before and during the stay to provide information as to which trams and buses to use, even early on a Sunday morning.

Perfect location near football stadium with excellent transport links into city.

Views of the distant mountains from our room, storks flying above and the army exercising its horses. Room was excellent and staff were brilliant.

Would have liked extra pillows in the room, larger table and additional seat for second person. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

It was the cheapest we can find for place to sleep as always out first thing in the morning and back late at night. Tram across the hotel was a bonus

The hotel was very close to the tram station so it was very convenient to go to the city centre. It was also within walking distance of Migros so it was very easy for us to get groceries. There is also luggage storage services.

When we reach the hotel, apparently the room assigned in booking.com was too small and there was an error in our booking. The staff told us that they also don't know why this can happen. Nevertheless, we got our room. Also, the toilet is very small and after bathing, you need to aerate it if not it will smell.
