We had a room with private onsen and view. Location was convenient, there was a shuttle bus to the train station and a few Hakone buses stopping nearby. We had the Japanese-style kaiseki and the 10-course dinner and the 7-course breakfast did test our food capacity! Everything was cooked and presented perfectly with such a supreme attention to detail and we really enjoyed the experience. We forgot a phone in the hotel and the staff were super helpful to give us a free shuttle ride so we don’t miss our train. Many thanks for the wonderful experience!
Not an issue for us but it is a 15-minute walk up the hill which can be challenging with no buses. The most convenient bus stops running in the late afternoon.

Love everything about it. Quite not busy. The half board dinner and breakfast were amazing. Hot spring bath beautiful and when we were there they were not busy at all. They were like private. The room is big and spacious. Everything is of quality. Really enjoyed the stay. Oh don’t forget to get i formation center call for pick up which was amazing.

There is a private onsen inside the room.
Food is not good compared to other ryokans that I have stayed. The scrambled eggs in my western breakfast on my 3rd morning was tasteless.
