"The reality is the same as the pictures. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff … speaking with some of them, their stories are inspiring."

Private onsen on the balcony was great, hotel very relaxing and comfortable, and the experience of staying in a ryokan was amazing!
The staff could have known more about the food being served.

The private onsen on the room was very nice
The Ryokan is tucked away from the main shopping street of Hakone so it’s a bit of a walk
