Fantastic experience of a Ryokan and great dining experience......not for vegetrians or vegans though

The hotel does not offer anything at all for Vegans or Vegetarians. They couldnt even remove something off one of the set dishes to accomodate this. My sister basically didnt eat anything for our stay.

Great location near Gora station. A lot of the staff are multilingual, very courteous, and communicative. You can experience Japanese onsen experience at your pace by either using the open air bath in your room or using the private onsen on the basement level!

The service, property and location were outstanding.

There are very few dinner options nearby. Be sure to book dinner on the property or the nearby sushi Italian restaurant in advance. There are no taxis or buses at night to take you to other spots. There is a small market up the street.

Our stay was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. There is absolutely nothing to fault when it comes to the customer service we received; we were made to feel genuinely special throughout our stay. The room was lovely, and the Japanese dinner was an experience in itself — absolutely fantastic and a real highlight of our visit. The attention to detail and the overall experience made us feel truly pampered. The only slight disappointment was that our room overlooked the car park, which was rather unfortunate, as a different view would have made the stay even more perfect. Aside from that one small point, everything was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakone. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so memorable!
