Onsen is great, staff is very nice. Rooms are very comfortable (we stayed in Japanese style one), Japanese dinner and breakfast have been a delight (make sure you have it in your booking upfront cause buying it on site is quite expensive). Hotel is secluded so it's nice that they offer shuttle service.
Not sure if it's because of our room, but bathroom could use a renewal.
You need to know that the hotel is far from the lake\restaurants\shop etc. so take this into account while planning your stay.
