Hakone Suishoen

It was just magical, everything was so peaceful and relaxing it was great.

The food is very Japanese and needed a bit to get used to it, but the experience was great.

Our room was lovely and exceptionally comfortable. The private onsen was a treat to have. The expertly prepared meals were an incredible opportunity to explore Japanese cuisine. The staff seems to be large and ever-present to offer assistance.

Nothing

Location is nice if you like hiking. Staff were very attentive. Room was luxurious and modern.

Our room was nice and comfortable. Location is very good and the resort’s shuttle service was good too. Food was excellent.

This property is not well suited for families with children and both the management as well as the staff made us feel uncomfortable being there with a child. The room is not well suited to accommodate families with children and the hotel staff made us as well as our child feel uncomfortable during all the meals we had. The resort also took advantage of the fact that we have a child to charge extra for anything related to our child - for the child’s bed, child meals, etc. even though the reservation we made on booking specifically included both the adults and our child.
