Room was simple, mostly clean, had a nice private onsen. Meals were a nice experience and staff tried hard to provide great service. We enjoyed all the things that felt like relatively traditional Japanese foods and practices.
Room and onsen could definitely be cleaner, back yard the onsen views is a weed-filled mess. Food tried to be 3 Michelin star in presentation but definitely wasn't there in terms of quality, though it was good.

The staff is exceptional. Very welcoming. The meals were outstanding. The wagyu beef was off the charts. Rooms were beautiful and roomy. The onsen with the views was amazing.
We didn’t plan in advance and we didn’t know how far the property was to Gora. Not walkable.

el hotel está increíble; es un hotel boutique de 8 habitaciones en donde el servicio, los alimentos y las bebidas son de la más alta calidad. Ojalá nos hubiéramos quedado más tiempo. desde el proceso de check in te reciben con bebidas y botanas en lo que esperas sentado con una vista preciosa. la cena fue increible y el trato de todo el personal de los mejores que hemos recibido. 100% recomendado si quieres descansar despúes de estar caminando por todo Japón
