The facilities, vibe, onsen and staff were incredible. We felt like royalty. The room was ridiculous spacious and well thought out. The restaurant amazing.

This is a truly Japanese experience - amazing staff, lovely rooms and the private onsens with proper natural spring water was brilliant.
We used the bag service too which shipped out bags from the hotel to the station so we could enjoy more of Hakone!
I see lots about construction… can confirm that’s FINISHED!

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and well set up. The breakfast and dinners were nice and our hostess was great.
We had a private open air bath. It was great, with the private room set up for relaxing. Which was required as the bath was super hot.
We had the shuttle pick us up from
Gora, which made arrival easy. And for checking out the area it was close to Souzsan station for the ropeway.
We do wish they had mentioned about the construction across the road before hand. Although the sunrise at 5:30 woke us up well before the work started of the day. For the amount we paid for the room it warranted better service from the hotel to provide advance notification.
Upon leaving we were very disappointed as the shuttle was not running, and the train to gora has also not started for the day so we had to walk 20 min down a very steep hill.
