The Onsen was amazing! The buffet breakfast and dinner were also amazing! The staff were all so nice. The gift shop was dupe cute.
We didn’t know how far it was from the bottom of the hill so when we first got there we walked. The hotel is one of the farthest from the Hakone Yumoto station.
We walked up to the top of the hill for 25 minutes with our luggage. The google map said it would take 18 minutes to walk there but it took much longer. It was rough. I wish we had known they run local buses/shuttles, which is not shown on google map.

The view from our room was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the private bath and well equipped room. The buffet was decent and had a lot of food options.
The food quality could have been a little higher. Everything was fine and there were a lot of options but the quality tasted mediocre.

The views are amazing and staff were always friendly. They had a lot of options at the buffet. The outdoor bath was nice.
The indoor bath wasn’t as well maintained and the facility and room itself seem to not be well maintained. There’s a strange odor in the room and the futon beds were not very comfortable. I feel like the pictures make the place look way better than it actually is.

I liked it all worth the money
The only thing I did not like but it’s the way it is, I was not allowed by the public baths because of my tattoo but I did have patches for them, they just said no they did not give me a chance to show them but this is common
