Smart Villa Hakone Gora - Smart Villa 箱根強羅

Spacious villa with everything you could need. The bath and sauna were lovely. Beds were really comfortable especially by Japan standards. Very close to gora station.

Would have liked a bigger bed either king or queen as an option in one of the rooms instead of all singles.

Es war sehr gemütlich und ca. eine Minute vom Bahnhof entfernt. Uns hat der Fernseher gut gefallen und wir haben an zwei Abenden einen Filmabend gemacht. Es hätte auch einen Griller gegeben diesen haben wir aber nicht benutzt. Es war alles sehr gut ausgestattet und es gab Besteck und Geschirr. Die Badewanne und die Sauna waren ein großes Highlight. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren.

Amazing location, super comfortable beds, right near Gora station to head up the finicular and to see Fuji etc. The personal Onsen was magical.

This is a really nice property. The place is spotless and it’s super modern. But, we likely wouldn’t stay here again.

There’s not one big thing that we didn’t like, just lots of little things that overall, would likely persuade us not to stay again: 1. There was no soap available next to the sink to clean your hands with after using the toilet. That’s just really unsanitary. 2. There’s literally no where to hang your clothes up or store them in the property. You have to leave everything in your suitcase. 3. Whilst there’s a washing machine in the house (which is a welcome feature), all of the dials are in Japanese and there’s no instructions in the welcome manual on how to use it so we had to waste time trawling Google. 4. The parking for the property is down an incredibly narrow lane. I found it very stressful navigating back and forth, especially as we were in a large people carrier type vehicle. 5. I know many properties now have CCTV outside, but it did feel a little intrusive. 6. To get to the only bathroom in the property, you have to go through one of the bedrooms which isn’t ideal.
