Service and hospitality were excellent. Special shout out to Little and Rai, who were both very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Food was great. We had quite a wide variety over 3 nights and portions served were just right. Room was clean and very comfortable. Having fewer rooms made the place feel very exclusive and personal. I hardly saw any other guests.
The open air bath in the balcony of the executive room was disappointing. It could only fit one person and it was a tight fit. The private baths however could be easily booked and the public bath was not crowded, during our stay.

The walk uphill from the bus stop was a little intense so be prepared!

Strict time schedule of meals, taxi, onsen use. We were called 5 before if we were not standing there already prepared. The facilities are quite old and dated. Doesn’t look like in pictures
