HAKO REIRO 箱・玲瓏

The property was absolutely stunning, and we loved the overall design and aesthetic. It had a very modern feel while still incorporating elements of traditional Japanese style and authenticity. The open-plan living and dining area was bright, airy and beautifully designed. The combination of concrete and beech wood throughout worked incredibly well and gave the property a stylish yet warm feel. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms were sensational, with the wet room and bath being one of the real highlights of the property. The Marshall sound system was another lovely touch and added so much to our stay. Despite the speakers being relatively small, the sound carried beautifully throughout the apartment. The location was also excellent. The apartment was around a 10-minute walk from the main shopping and dining street, and there was a 7-Eleven just a few minutes away, which was extremely convenient. We bought our breakfast there the night before and made good use of the excellent cooking facilities in the apartment. The property was also very close to both the bus and train stations, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They responded very quickly to any questions we had, both before and during our stay, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, staying at this property was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Hakone in a few years’ time.

Very uncomfortable house. You need to watch your feet at every step because there are so many stairs and every room is at a different level with levels changing in each room as well.
