Breathtaking location in the mountainous setting of Gora. Spectacular views from our bedroom. Our family loved our time relaxing in the onsen overlooking the quiet hills. We also enjoyed trying all the new foods in the spectacular Kaiseki dinner. Sleeping on the floor was a novelty too!

Location up in the hills beautiful and tranquil.
Room smelled a bit funny. Possible combination of the meals that are served and eaten in the rooms. Wall paper peeling in parts and I saw a couple of big bugs near the hot spa that looked like cockroaches.

The location was great. Very close to the station and the ropeway. The shuttle to Gora station was also helpful. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The fresh meals were a wonderful touch. Our room was large and we really enjoyed having the private bath and the mountain views (even though it rained the whole time. Not the accommodations fault of course!).
The furniture in the sitting room was a bit outdated and not the most comfortable. There was also a fair amount of mold, mildew and dust throughout the room and building. It wasn't terrible, but it was noticeable.
