The property is so beautiful and well put together! We were so amazed and excited to stay here! We especially loved the private onsen and having the full kitchen to cook dinner and feel at home a bit during our two week stay in Japan. Every little amenity we could think of, they had! I think having the private onsen and huge space was way more worth the value than staying at the other hotels in the area. It was so convenient and beautifully renovated and looked exactly like the photos and the owners were so friendly and welcoming too. We wish we had more time to stay in Hakone and highly recommend booking this place!

The location is very high up on the mountains and a bit more remote and tucked into a quiet neighborhood. We had a rental car so it was super easy for us to find but if you’re traveling by public transportation I think it would be quite difficult to get to especially with luggage. Many restaurants are reservation only or close really early too so I would plan ahead!

המיקום של המלון לא טוב (חצי שעה מכל מקום אחר) בעל המלון לא הסכים להזמין לנו מונית מה שהקשה על היציאה מהמלון (לא היה נהגי uber שהיו בסביבה) *זה לא יהיה בעיה אנשים עם רכב*

It's such a beautiful cabin in the middle of nature. Perfect for a staycation and relaxation. Everything is really clean as well! We had a very comfortable stay.

The wifi connection and cellular signal seems to be weak. It's also far from bus stops so getting around is quite difficult.
