Welcoming and hospitable hosts with good personal feel.

Architecturally interesting, lovely interior design, quite different from other hotels, small scale and hospitable. Room well equipped. Always nice to have a kettle.

My stay at Frauenhotel Hanseatin exceeded my expectations in every way - my room was exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished with very thoughtful touches (bedroom slippers, hairdryer, welcome chocolates and make-up mirror, just to name a few). The bed was very comfortable and I loved that my attic room had a little ceiling window looking up into the night sky:) Linda, Gudrun and Anja were warm, hospitable and welcoming - I really appreciated how Linda kindly offered to carry my luggage with me up the flight of stairs to my room upon check in. Breakfast in the saloon (that looked out to a little garden) every morning was lovely - complete with a variety of cheeses, ham, cereals, breads, spreads and coffee made fresh/to-order:) Even the shared bathroom (between my room and 2 others, but there was only one another during my stay) was consistently clean! In addition, the fact that the hotel was exclusively for women made it feel very special and like a safe haven:) The little touches in the reception/entrance area - the paintings on the walls, the photographs telling its history through the years and even the complimentary coffee and tea sachets. I'll definitely choose to stay again if I come back to visit Hamburg, and I highly recommend this gem to other female solo travellers/couples/family/friends!

Peaceful place to stay in a lovely part of Hamburg.

Very welcoming reception and thoughtful touches like magnifying mirror in bathroom. Fresh, simply furnished, well appointed room with window that could be opened for fresh air. Location very close to a U station for easy transport around Hamburg.

Comfy room in Hamburg

Nice compact room with lots of little comfortable touches such as tissues, kettle, shoe horn (and tea bags in reception) and in a lovely old building. All very clean including the shared toilet/ bathroom and the bed was comfortable. I left early so didn't get breakfast. Friendly reception staff and would certainly stay here again.

It’s clean.

The single room was quite uncomfortable, the bed feels smaller than a normal dorm single bed. I am 170cm/50kg and the bed felt way too small for me that I couldn’t move, I don’t know how it works for other people. The low celling and the narrow feelings makes it feel like a prison room. I would have preferred just a normal bed in a normal hostel shared room.

Beautiful old building, cute courtyard, quiet but easily accessible location, and nice touches like slippers, little chocolates in the room, quiet classical music playing in the dining area at breakfast, friendly staff, basic but clean and cosy room all made for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Oh, and gluten free options at breakfast (including a homemade bread) were a welcome surprise!

A small fridge in the room would've been a bonus. No other concerns though, it's a great small hotel run by respectful and kind women. Highly recommended.

Everything! Close to Public transport, near city center, has everything you need (some place to store clothes), very friendly staff, some chocolate / free water in the room, clean & comfortable rooms

For people who are light sleepers could be difficult cause you do hear the door of your neighbor's room once it shuts

Amazing, loved it!

I loved the whole stay - the facilities, location, breakfast (appreciate the healthy options!), atmosphere, the staff was super sweet too :)

The only downside would be the internet connection - you need to re-login every 30 minutes which can get frustrating especially when the re-login doesn't work properly. The speed was good tho!

女子がくつろげる素敵な宿

掲載写真5の部屋で大通りに面しているが、二重窓のお蔭か騒音は気にならなかった。天井壁面の白でモダンに見えるが、調度品が木調で古典的な落ち着ける部屋だった。シャワー室は新しい。2泊のみで中庭を楽しむことができなかったのが残念だった。スタッフは女性で穏やかです。

部屋は2階でスタッフが手伝ってくれたが、古くからの建物なのでエレベーターはない。宿の問題でないが自国の貨幣が弱体したため、評価が低くなってしまった…m(__)m

Großartige Alternative zu Hotelketten, sehr zentral und persönlich!

Uns hat alles gefallen! Die Lage ist fantastisch, sehr gut angebunden (auch zum Flughafen) und zentral. Das Zentrum kann von hier aus zu Fuß besichtigt werden. Die direkte Umgebung bietet zudem viele untouristische Highlights. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet, Kaffee und Bio Tee ist durchgehend verfügbar / inkludiert. Die Gastgeberinnen sind sehr sympathisch und präsent. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht gekostet (sind keine Frühstückerinnen), dies ist jedoch Bio und kann im schön gestalteten Café & auch im wunderschönen begrünten Innenhof konsumiert werden. Wir empfehlen das Hotel zu 100% weiter!

Зручне розташування готелю, легко дістатися з вокзалу та з готелю легко дістатися до визначних памʼяток, як пішки, так і на транспорті (зупинки поруч). Сам готель та номер чистий, комфортний, все продумано до дрібниць. У мене був окремий одномісний номер із спільною ванною кімнатою. В номері були додаткові шнури для зарядки, вентилятор, беруши, рушники, капці, достатньо вішаків, під ліжком були додаткові полки для зберігання, фен, електричний чайник, можна просити на рецепції пакетик чаю та робити собі в номері. Доступні сніданки по типу шведського столу, сам сніданок проходить на терасі та є можливість у саду, але 2 дні мого перебування супроводжувались ранковим дощем 😅 але на самій терасі теж дуже затишно. Персонал привітний, завжди готовий допомогти. Доречі, в кімнаті поклали мапу із екскурсійними маршрутами, що також дуже зручно для туриста
