As a price performance it is not a good stay for us.

Nice hotel but seems popular for family stays so I wouldn’t recommend to solo travelers

Great staff, nice rooms, in a very nice and convenient part of Hamburg

Mainly deducting points for my experience of the pool. The hotel should make it clearer this is really a family pool and not for relaxing. The “family” hours were not enforced and there were still kids there splashing and throwing balls every night I stayed past 8/9 pm. Also lots of talking in the sauna. Much less of a “spa” experience than comparable hotels I have stayed at in Europe and I wish I knew this before booking.

Not the best service and value for money, but an acceptable stay in Hamburg

The concierge who handled the luggage and the woman at the pool were excellent — they were the only staff members who truly stood out in a positive way. The pool itself was actually quite good.

They still have a long way to go to provide consistently good service every day. On the first day they tried, but on the second day the staff felt a bit unprofessional and not very welcoming to guests. The bar service was poor. Breakfast was chaotic and not handled properly, the staff didn’t seem prepared to manage it well.

Breakfast was of good quality. Mainly - the room, bed, everything was extremely comfortable and location impeccable for the center.

Service was much too slow checking in, waiting to be seated for breakfast (the most awkward breakfast logistics experienced yet), etc.

Location, cleanliness and staff are all fantastic.

Brilliant location, very clean and tidy hotel but above all absolutely outstanding staff that couldn’t do enough for us. Excelled my expectations, my family had a great time staying here and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back

Pool heating was broken so the pool was very cold. Conversely, air con in the room wasn’t great so the room was quite warm in the evening.

The location was excellent and the rooms were nicely presented with a good bed. Staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was lovely

The aircon in rooms was awful, making it hard to sleep in the heat. The swimming pool was like swimming in a freezing lake meaning it wasn't enjoyable.

Spacious rooms, great location.

The hotel is in a great location in the center and close to evertything. The buffet breakfast gives you a huge choice. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Always a pleasure to stay here.

Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations and it was very loud in the morning plus our floor was a literal construction site with no carpeting, etc in the hallways

overpriced and out dated hotel. Marriott thinks they are something special which they are not!

Breakfast was good. Location is great

Staff is unfriendly. If you order a family deluxe room for 4 people you expect a bit space escpially at that price. Our room was booked for 4 people and we had 3 towels and 2 queen sized beds are also not deluxe in my opionion. 2 bathrobes for 4 people is also not deluxe. I would not recommend this for families.

Facilities and location were great. We enjoyed our time here, the rooms could be updated a bit more but otherwise we had a great experience.
