    Modern and brand new feel, but definitely lacking for a 4-star hotel. In-room amenities are minimal—no slippers, just instant coffee, three glasses, and an empty, tiny minibar you can't use as a fridge. The biggest issue is parking: it’s a public lot and you pay per exit. If you leave multiple times, it becomes way more expensive than expected.

    Stayed at ARCOTEL Onyx in Hamburg in October. The hotel room was spacious and well appointed, the afternoon staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a convenient location to the U-Bahn St. Pauli station, the waterfront, and the Reeperbahn. The only minor point was the water in the shower didn't get as hot as I like, but other than that it was a great stay and highly recommended. I definitely plan on staying there again when in Hamburg.
