Different look and feel to a hotel stay - and I loved it

Missed AC on an extremely hot couple of days in Hamburg - but we knew the room didn’t have it when we ordered - so I really can’t blame anyone but myself 😊

Enjoyed the warm welcome, the rental bikes and the feeling of having a home base.

Easygoing, welcoming and practical place to explore the city from. I loved the design of the place. The four person room has enough space and a nice bathroom. Nothing feels cramped. Good breakfast, but there are lots of places around to get breakfast too. Appreciate the 24/7 reception, where one can get a drink at all hours as well as snacks. Or a free slice of bread and hazelnut spread.

Spacious, comfortable and quirkily decorated room. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Great public space for hanging out. Delicious breakfast with masses of choice. Can’t praise this place enough.

Superb

We liked the location, there were many restaurants/cafes nearby. Andrew, the guy from the reception, was so nice and friendly, that he upgraded our room for free. The room was clean, quite big and quiet. It also had balcony.

The hotel didn't provide with some toiletries like shampoo, shower gel or slippers, and the room was dark.

Perfect location to explore St. Pauli area

The hostel is in a perfect location, if you want to explore the St. Pauli area. The breakfast served every day was very good and offered a very rich choice of coffee as well as salty and sweet breakfast options.

We had a two bed room but unfortunately the bed wasn't as comfortable as we expected. Also the shower curtain in the bathroom didn't catch the whole water when during the shower and the door to the bathroom always closes automatically and the extractor fan didn't work either.

great friendly location St. Pauli / Schanzenviertel

Very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable room (the only one with a balcony) to the back side of the building. Breakfast of excellent quality (incl. vegan / organic spreads, hummus, couscous, lentils, waffles, etc.), good sleep with open windows, comfy beds), cool design, and very friendly and helpful personnel (believe it or not, the elderly people next door celebrated a birthday party in the afternoon with fairly loud music). Hip Schanzenviertel around the corner.

Fun and welcoming atmosphere with great facilities

Great atmosphere, creative deco, comfy room and all the facilities one needs for a hotel stay. The details are what makes superbude special from the fun repurpose of objects such as plungers as coat hangers and wheelbarrows as chairs in the lobby.

The only complaint I have is that the pillows were not firm enough.

Everything was great from the Staff, rooms and site, it feels like home. To be honest, where can you find a hotel that offers breakfast from 7:00 - 12:00 ?
